Packers are signing WR Davante Adams to a multi-year contract extension, per sources.

As the Bears draft pick is now likely to be in the 7-12 range, Ridley now becomes a sensible option if he is there.

Not worth the money. GB will never have a defense unless they find a guy that can do more with less. (Fangio) I would puke if this happens.

I'd rather have the $14 million per year in cap space.

The wide receiver free agent market is always deep, and you can always find guys who can contribute at a reasonable price.

If the Bears could possibly sign, say, John Brown, Paul Richardson, and Marquise Lee, they'd suddenly have a nice athletic group of receivers even without a clear #1. Brown and Richardson are potentially very good signings for Trubisky because they're both legit 4.3 40 guys who can actually catch (unlike certain receivers presently on the roster).

I think Pace hits tier 2 for a starting WR, Richardson, Lee, Moncrief

Meredith comes back

Drafts a WR in the 2nd round who we hope can play early

Meredith
Richardson
2nd round pick
Wright
Inman
White, till on IR

Not world beaters, but 3 better WRs that played a single snap this season,

This might be a stretch but I have serious hopes for Inman.
I’m very curious to see his performance after a full spring with the team.

I don't think he's gonna have any other choice but to go with the tier 2 type WR's now. I guess with D.Adams getting overpaid that the other 3 will now be asking for or around that much which could scare their teams off some. You know Landry will be asking for $14-$15 now and maybe the Dolphins won't wanna pay that, The Jags had some young guys really step up this season and still have A.Hurns under contract so maybe they let A.Rob slide but probably not, is the Rams gonna wanna pay S.Watkins $14 mil per? Will be an interesting offseason seeing what these WR's will get paid.
