I also have no issue with her response to the douche bags but I do feel it was a bit over dramatic. I just feel that this is not news worthy material and for it to be posted on multiple news websites is just absurd.

I agree. Things that have been said to my daughter just to have the other kids parents get mad at the school for disciplining him and pulling him out of school make me lose hope for humanity.

We have become a society that believes that no matter how bad of a thing you may have done, there was always something else the other person could have done that could have lessened what happened. Like for instance they could say "Well your daughter shouldn't have had her ears on that day!" Like they are removable or something... People these days. No one accepts responsibility and parents are no longer accepting responsibility for their own children anymore.
