They sound pretty banged up going into week 1. Just put Kyle Murphy (their best back up) on IR. LT Bakhtiari is recovering from an ankle injury and Bulaga is still recovering from ACL last year. Spriggs is coming off a season ending injury too.

I don't want Rodgers to be hurt, I just want him running for his life, getting sacked hard, throwing interceptions and being so out of breath that he loses control of his bodily functions and poops his pants. I ask for this only twice a year.

Aaron is notoriously bad when he has constant pressure in his face. We should eat this shit o line and make him run for his life the whole game I can’t fucking wait

The Bears have Oline concerns at LG, many expected Daniels to step right in at guard or hopefully center moving CDub over to LG but now we're looking at Kush, who hasn't looked good in preseason. He filled in a few games in 16 and did ok but is a big question mark, hopefully Daniel's can figure out his game and get in the lineup.

Packers are saying Bulaga is ready, but the big question is regarding the RG position. Center, LG,LT is considered a strength and one of the best combinations in the league.

Vikings are starting Tom Compton at guard.

I’m more concerned with the Bears O-line...

If you think that Green Bay has one of the better left sides in football you are just not watching the games. He is constantly flushed out of the pocket or forced to run and make plays behind that line. They are banged up and coming off serious injuries, they are literally the definition of a dumpster fire offensive line and running game. Aaron Rogers continues to escape pressure with his unbelievable awareness and football IQ.

There are some solid players on the Packers but they are hurt and many of them are aging, Rogers included. Rogers has had 2 broken collarbones, not because he is a risk taker but because his line breaks down and he does what he has to do to keep the plays alive, costing him big with those injuries.

I think you are watching the Packers dominance slip away and only because they are the packers and they have aaron rogers does anyone believe that team is built to be a winner...

You take rogers down. Its likely a 3 win team.

How much will goldman play if they are in nickel D most of the game? With mack here maybe floyd and smith can handle coverage enough that they can play more base D. I dont want them to be able to run the ball at all so they become 1 dimensional right away.

That OL left side a strength may have come from a Packer nation article so you may be right. The left tackle is all pro caliber but has had his injury issues.

I think that people are sleeping on something a bit.
Mack is going to be over the LT. They’re not going to switch Floyd around now, he knows the defense and Mack doesn’t. They can line Mack up over LT and just tell him to go get whoever has the ball. Mack has played on both sides so it’s not a stretch.
It doesn’t matter how good the Packers left side is, they will have to leave a back in or put the TE on Mack’s side because there isn’t a OT who can handle him by himself.
Hicks and Floyd will end up single blocked and have a field day, Goldman and Bullard/Harris will get single blocked and will play well too.

Not going to lie. Spit out my coffee at the Glennon pic.

Got me good, fucker.

I was scrolling through looking at Hicks pics and that popped up. Was way to good not to include it lol. The one problem with flushing Rodgers from the pocket is he is so effing good at making up plays on the run. He doesn't have this BF Jordy anymore though so we'll see.

Mack and Floyd will switch sides occasionally. This will give the linemen different looks and rushes so they can't get into a protection rhythm.

Well its a good thing we happen to have a solid secondary back there anyways. Rodgers isn't going to have the luxury of picking us apart easily anymore.

I feel like the Mack signing at this juncture in the season is going to absolutely jack these guys up. I think Nagy, Fangio and company are going to get these guys so hyped up it's going to be one of those games where there's six to eight sacks with a couple of turnovers. I think we're immediately going to be put in the National Spotlight as contenders and life will be good my fellow Bears fans. Life will be good...
