I feel like the Mack signing at this juncture in the season is going to absolutely jack these guys up. I think Nagy, Fangio and company are going to get these guys so hyped up it's going to be one of those games where there's six to eight sacks with a couple of turnovers. I think we're immediately going to be put in the National Spotlight as contenders and life will be good my fellow Bears fans. Life will be good...

Oh, the juices will surely be flowing. Also, Mack was complementary about the guys he's joining in recognizing we already had some solid talent he was adding to. So I'm sure players will see that and be like, alright, I see you over there, lets get it.

I was scrolling through looking at Hicks pics and that popped up. Was way to good not to include it lol. The one problem with flushing Rodgers from the pocket is he is so effing good at making up plays on the run. He doesn't have this BF Jordy anymore though so we'll see.

Thats where our boy Roquan comes in, I hope. Let the "dogs" flush him and Roquan will clean up.

Their OL is fine headed into Week 1. Bulaga has gotten reps the last 2 preseason games(and was medically cleared to come off PUP a week into training camp) and Bak played in week 2 and week 3. Nobody is banged up there heading into this game

the question mark is RG though. Justin McCray is the starter and it'll be his first full season as a starter after being a practice squad guy/backup for them in prior years

lol we said the same shit about that O line last year and look how that went.... Aaron Rodgers is the king and until I see the Bears beat them it seems silly to say they have some type of edge.

I am VERY optimistic about the Bears this year, but week 1 going into lambeau.... I'm very doubtful they come out with a win.

So they have a guy coming off a season ending injury, one guy who has an unsteady ankle and a new starter who has been a backup in his career. Sounds good for us.

You wanna play up an ankle sprain from 4 weeks ago in which said player has since played reps in meaningless preseason games? Ok then.

I think you are watching the Packers dominance slip away and only because they are the packers and they have aaron rogers does anyone believe that team is built to be a winner...

How long was Rogers out last year? They finished ahead of us with a much better record.

Our main problem, the coaches, has been changed. But they can still win without Rodgers.
Hopefully they do have oline issues and we can test if they can win with him. But the problem thinking a great rush can beat him is his mobility.

Can you go crawl back into whatever hole you came out of?

Nope. But you have more control over yourself than me so you could go crawl back into your hole if you like.

Mack and Floyd will switch sides occasionally. This will give the linemen different looks and rushes so they can't get into a protection rhythm.

Eventually yes, but I doubt they do it this game.
You may even see a “46” where Mack and Floyd are on the same side in some games. Imagine Mack, Floyd and Hicks all coming on one side!

That’s why Smith is so valuable, he’s better in pursuit, besides they’d do it on third and long.

I agree with Spunky in that the Packers are very solid at LT and C for sure. Bakhtiari is a very good LT and Linsley is a very good C. Bulaga is good when healthy but he could be vulnerable in week 1 just like Long will be.

I'm as concerned about our Oline against the Packers front 7. With the addition of Wilkerson to go with Clark, Daniels, and Matthews, they will generate pressure. Pettine is going to dial it up against our suspect line and near-rookie QB. I doubt Pettine gives Trubisky the same luxury that Fangio gave Hundley last year. I don't think this is going to be the easy game some are eluding to. I still expect GB to put up over 24 on our D. The majority of our LB group is not in football shape yet and Floyd will be playing with a cast. I sure hope our O can score more than 24. Here's praying for a shutout.
