Unless Dodge finally revamped the steering and suspension components on the last generation of Chargers / Challengers....expect to be replacing tie rods excessively. I have never owned a Mustang so I can't speak there. In reality I would be swayed far more over comfort and interior than how they look externally as both look good.

All taste.
I'm sure the scat package is more powerful if that's your thing.
The challenger is bigger but have not driven one.
They both look fairly aggressive in my rear view mirror.

I heard the tie rod issue was largely fixed after 2011

Buy an F150 with the coyote 5.0. Powerful, quick and 4 wheel drive. At least drive one before you make a choice.

I was looking at that too.....the nice thing about a blank check from your wife on going to get a car is that I have a lot of choices.....the bad part is I have a lot of choices.

I love my F150. Yesterday going to watch the Grandkids I was running 70 and getting 23 mpg. It's the supercrew so it's a big truck but drives like a much smaller vehicle.

Very true but mine will never do any work. I have a F350 and E350 for work. The F150 is my fun truck.

back handed compliment?

A bit of fun yes...
I like them both and the SS Camaro as well.
I've always been a fan of American muscle and like living in the new muscle era.
Get the one that appeals to you, they are all terrific in their own way.
I'm also a fan of Euro sport cars as well.
I need a four door so am a sport sedan guy for a few more years.

I feel like I wasted away my 2-door years because I have always had 4 door cars and unfortunately they never made a 2 door Charger for insurance purposes. Problem is that I am 32 now and the allure of 2 door cars has mostly passed me by.

I never had the allure until now......I have owned suvs, trucks and fun-to-drive-almost-a-Euro/Japanese-sports car....never had a muscle car but I am starting to appreciate them. My wife likes them so I have carte blanche.

If this were 2015, I would say the Mustang GT Premium was the way to go, but 2016, that changes in nearly all categories. The 2016 Camaro SS is something special. Don't just picture which looks better in your driveway. Drive all of them and see how you like them. The bean counters at Fiat have been upping the ponies on their vehicles without really improving reliability. It's a damn shame how many new Challengers become money pits. Not that owning any of the 3 are really impressive with reliability, but no use adding insult to injury IMO.
