Pacers Rally Falls Short

After being down 15 at halftime, the Indiana Pacers had a chance to send the game to overtime. Unfortunately, Steve Nash missed a 19 foot jumper at the horn for that chance. Danny Granger scored 22, and was pleased with the Pacers' resiliency "Earlier this season, the Pacers would have quit, mailed it in. Coach Vogel trusts in us to execute, and let us being the team back." When asked if he was upset if he didn't get the last shot, Granger said that Steve and Pau can take whatever shots they want, and that they know how to get good looks. "It sucks man, but I trust in my teammates, and their shot selection. Steve was hitting them all game long." Steve Nash led the Pacers with 26 points on the night. There's no rest for the weary Pacers as they head to Chicago for a divisional matchup with the Chicago Bulls.

Tired Pacers No Match For Bulls

For three quarters, the Pacers matched the Bulls step for step, with the game tied at 48, the Bulls went on a 17-5 to close out the game. "We were tired. No one feels sorry for us." "We have to play Boston and Charlotte on a back-to-back Friday and Saturday too. We'll win both of those." Danny Granger said after his 2-10 shooting performance. Paul George had a season high 20 points on the night, but struggled from beyond the arc with 0-4 shooting. The Pacers head up to Boston for a game Friday night.

Ragged Pacers Fall For Third Straight Time

It seems that Frank Vogel has ran his team ragged. The Pacers fell to Boston 61-48 Friday night, for their third straight loss. The Pacers were outscored by 15 in the second half. "We couldn't get anything going." Assistant coach Brian Shaw said. "Pau and Steve weren't being aggressive on offense and it killed. Media and other teams won't feel sorry for us. We got to get a W tomorrow against Charlotte."

Gasol's Double-Double Leads Pacers to Victory

The Pacers were down 14 at the end of the first quarter. People wondered if the 6 game winning streak was going to be a distant memory. Pau Gasol silenced those doubts with 21 points and 12 rebounds in the Pacers 73-70 OT victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Gasol's frontcourt teammate Taj Gibson helped with 10 points, and 8 rebounds despite leaving in OT with an undisclosed injury. Gibson came back to nail two free throws late to ice the game. "This is why I was brought here. I'm not the best player. I can outwork and out hustle any player in the NBA. I hope Pacer fans appreciate that." Danny Granger is in a cold streak, as he scored 8 points on 2-10 shooting. "It was great to get the win. We needed the fans help to get the W. We want to thank the fans for the support, and we won't let you down this season." Gasol said to the packed crowd of 85,247 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers play the New Jersey Nets in New Jersey on Monday night.

Granger Leaves Game With Back Strain

i

Danny Granger left at halftime of the Pacers/Spurs game with a back strain. Pacers trainers say this injury will keep him out for a week. Frank Vogel will have more information on this after the game.

Pacers Dominate Spurs

220px-Pacersoriginallogo.gif

For one time this season, there was a game where the outcome wasn't in doubt. The Pacers dominated from the opening tip and won over the San Antonio Spurs 70-47. It was a balanced effort with 11 players scoring on the night. "These games are great. It felt great to get more minutes, though I feel bad they come at Danny's expense. We hope he recovers quickly. He's what carries us." Reserve Dahntay Jones said after the game. Frank Vogel announced that Tyler Hansbrough will start in place of Taj Gibson. Taj Gibson will move from power forward to shooting forward. "No one feels sorry for us. We have to go on. This season is ours." Paul George said after the game. "It's up to me to find my shot in Danny's absence. It's on me to step up." George added. The Pacers head to Toronto again for Friday's game and head back to Indiana on Saturday for a matchup with the 76ers.

It'd be the #3 where Granger usually starts

Guess its small forward :obama:

Taj at SF? o_O Why...

And in that case Hansbrough would be starting in place of Granger, not Gibson if Gibson is still in the starting lineup.

Bench-Warmer Steps Up and Leads Pacers to Win

When Danny Granger was injured Wednesday, fans wondered where the Pacer offense would come from. It came from 3rd string PG AJ Price with 10 points on 5-7 shooting. "It feels great man. It was nice to close out the 4th quarter with my teammates." Price said after the game. Coach Vogel was pleased in his team's effort "This is what a team is all about. We could have mailed it in because Danny wasn't playing. We don't quit, we ball til the clock reads 0s in the 4th quarter. We need to win all we can to get in the playoffs. Getting in the playoffs is the only way to accomplish our goal, an NBA title." The Pacers head back to Indiana to face the 76ers tomorrow night.

I don't know. I like going big sometimes and get rebounding :dunno:

It worked this time so I'll stick with it.

I'm not a big Dahntay Jones fan.

In other news, JL3 got his first minutes as a Pacer. Chucked up a shot with 20 seconds left on the shot clock. :troll:
