I think Schumer is the best, and also the most likely, choice.

Yes, he was the one who stated it was Kafka, then Shurmer, then no OC, now Shurmer again.

He just says whatever one of the real beat guys has a a possibility then claims he has a source. But, if you put enough names out there you will definitely get something right eventually.

Not true.

This guy had the Mark Helfrich hire days before anyone else.

He definitely has a source inside Halas.

Why do people want Pat Shurmur? I honestly don't get it. His track record as a coordinator is mediocre at best.
He has NFL experience.. thats a plus on our last OC...

What the bears need is someone to challenge Nagy. The absolute worst case scenario was a former college coach to be a yes man to all of nagy’s college football BS. Get Shurmur in here to level Nagy out a bit.

Something I was thinking about the other day: is there a chance Nagy gave up playcalling at the end of last season and we didn’t know it? The play calling at the end of last season was much different than at any other point in Nagy’s tenure. Howard was actually getting carries out of the “I” and that seems like an abnormality in this offense with Nagy calling plays.
Didn't Nagy say that if he gives up play calling duties that we'd never know it?

Has shurmur actually succeeded somewhere?

Or just bounced around?

Did Minn win due to his offense or Zimmer’s defense?

Did you see what he did with Case Keenum?

I think we’ve seen enough evidence now to know, that wasn’t Keenum....

I would love it, but If Nagy isn't going to give up play calling, no way he is coming here.

Dude, you are worrying way too far into the future for something that's like a pipe dream.
Bears will give you something more concrete to worry about come October.
Yeah, I know.

I am really just afraid shurmur will rub off on others. I just don’t have the same love for him others do. Saw him in StL. Saw him as HC twice. Meh.

My fear is he comes, and if we make a HC change down the line, he gets the job.

He has failed miserably twice.

I think Pagano would get the job over Shurmur.

I will give you a hint.
It involves the sun, a magnifying glass and Nagy's bald head sticking out of his visor.

Dude where did u find pic and is that Alyssa Milano?

NY is kind of a dumpster fire. They drafted a rookie that by all accounts wasn’t ready, and they traded away their best receiver. Shurmur did great in Minnesota and we clearly saw when he left the offense TANKED in spite of an upgrade at QB.

Yeah, I mean, he had the #5 offense out of 32 with Keenum at QB. That's the definition of mediocre....:brady:
