I bought the Meshify 2 in white and I love it. Is a little pricey though, but I like the way it looks.

yeah the 2 seems a little nicer with more than the s2.. longer psu fits and those extra drives spaces could come in handy.

been pretty solid longterm use wise? flush fits or any minor warping? any panel/bracket rattling?

gpus have come down a tad but 800ish for a NEW 3070ti is still meh.. so i guess no 4k gaming upgrade.. id pay msrp, so hopefully they keep dropping... i dont buy used gpus nearing that price point.. if 1-300 yeah okay

get an email today my "open box" demo was now out of stock... they have a overpriced haf500 for a lil more...refund me and go eat a dick..

went after that h500p cause it was a deal.. since id have to pay more for a new still in box h500p mesh, i went with a different case elsewhere that had no RG bling, but it had my Gen 1/2 USB 3.2 ports that i originally wanted instead..

a white be quiet! silent base 802

could buy led 140s to replace the non led 140s that come installed if i really want more rgb. not at this point...dunno how fruity i want to get...will debate that since i got sprinkles of unicorn vomit already in the case..... will debate an aio going forward though.. the case gives you solid and mesh panel options.. if the solid is really quiet i may look at a aio if the temps are too hot.. seeing tests it was only a few degrees hotter with the solid panels vs the louder but cooler mesh ones....

wish the 3 installed 140s were pwm and white... it does have a fan hub in it that has fan control switch on the front panel..

Try using overclock software like Afterburner to underclock your card a smidge.

Either way sounds like the card drivers are crashing.
Will I be able to run warzone after underclocking it? The primary issue is it occurs when I'm running warzone (monitor loses signal) and I'm wondering if underclocking it will keep it from running it properly it since underclocking it keeps your from running it at full potential.

It won't make a noticeable difference.

It might even feel like it runs better in the most demanding games where it may run at slightly less frames (like in the neighborhood of 5 fps less) but the frame spikes are evened out

It's just a guess, but it is possible that one game is pushing your card to where it isn't getting enough voltage or is just generally becoming unstable and crashing the driver. Witcher 3 used to do that to me and I had to downclock just a hair.

Try getting afterburner and reducing the gpu clock like 25 mhz and max out the voltage offset.

Either way, it is completely safe and can be reversed.

You should be using software like afterburner to set fan curves and to OC on other games, anyway

Also, get HWMonitor to keep on eye on shit

when is last time you opened the case and cleaned the heatsink, fans, of debris? this includes your power supply fans.

i'd try that first if you haven't done so already. Get those compressed air cans and blow everything out as it may just be heat buildup due to poor airflow.

My gaming computer has 6 external fans, it's like a monsoon inside, heh

try undervolting it a tad.. u can do that in afterburner aswell..

u can still get similar and oc performance while undervolting.. just gotta tweak and test to make sure its at a stable load..

sounds like a psu or your gpu is overheating.. might want to reapply gpu thermal paste.. check fans to see if all are working and clean them while ur there...

what psu/gpu?

undervolting will reduce powerdraw and temps.........ie if your temps are normalized to begin with..

and yeah drivers.. check those...

No Ryzen 9 MR editor?

Hopefully gpu prices keep falling. My rtx 2060 can game at 4k custom med/low at playable fps, so i cant justify paying 25%+ msrp on hundreds n hundreds just to go high/ultra 60FPS. ASUS had said 25% price reductions on April 1, but later backed off from this comment. That would have brought things closer to MSRP. At MSRP Ill consider it

Closest i can find RTX 3xxx to MSRP atm are colorful gpus at a local shop. Never had a colorful product. I know they service china mainly and are the second largest gpu manufacturer in the world, but im still weary. I shouldnt be, since i buy a lot of chinese brands. If i really needed a new gpu id probably check them out. If i did buy one now, watch prices drop even further for other brands....

However, If you are interested in colorful, my research shows undervolting is the best way to go with them.. reduces their high running temps. higher temps vs asus, gig, evga etc seems to be a common theme... also not the best OCing gpus compared to the others either, if OCing is a requirement.

I dont have buyers regret, but as a cheap ass ****, with years of price to performance under my belt, Im calling myself out. i can afford the dumb shit, but its just dumb buy...ryzen fanbois will disagree im sure....I still dont have my shit yet either, the lull in time has brought clarity.. CPU came, mobo/ram sent seperate, did some weird back and forth postage thing and is now stuck at some processing center... enter, blame covid. the rest have an eta for mon-wed.

My OLD, DIRT CHEAP, set up is equal to a ryzen 5 2600 and while im getting core/speed upgrades. how many more years do you think the 2600 will be relevent? 5-10 years? yeah so id guess id be too.. maybe if games require some obsecure instruction set, maybe im fucked in 6 years on two games.. cause a few games are unplayable on older x58 which require avx..

i could have upgraded my cpu and bought a Xeon 2667v2 @ 8 cores/16 threads @ 3.3 - 4 ghz for $40 bucks for a core and slight clock bump.. then spent everything else towards a rtx 3080/90 or something and had a better experience for at least gaming.. ill will still get a new gpu sooner than later.. but still......or better yet, i could have gotten a barrel of burbon to blind me from the realities of life while i had slightly less cpu performance... that makes sense...

If i did workload shit even on a hobby level, maybe it makes sense.. i may be a poweruser but my heavy workload days are behind me, maybe 1 thing out of the blue here and there.. but that doesnt justify the slight performance upgrade... that gen 3/4 pci though.. yeah my shitty chinese x79 mobo only has 1 sata m.2 slot.. oh the horrors............but type c man...transfers speeds will be up.. that type c will go a long way to transfering all my homemade 4k porn off my phone faster than i can rub one out.. oh i could have added a pci card you say..

oh but if your under full load for days on end cpu mining...youll get your money back in like 10 years from the savings of going with 65w......

anyway, I wanted to give myself a dickface moron grade. Fucking burbon...........

i better waste even more money on rgb everything... to go full on unicorn diarrhea to make it worth it on a personal meme lvl

to be fair to this ryzen buy in.. i would have made a dumb pointless xeon x99 boredom purchase at some point too..

Some of the Geforce 3000 series have been popping up on Amazon again and the price has dropped. other day a 3080 was selling at $1050. Would have gotten it if i didnt waste a ton of money on this dumb shit myself.

$1050 is still shit though right. i swear if you buy it, itll be $700 in june... and if you dont buy it, itll be 1500 in june.. wish the 4xxx cards would drop soon so i can weigh those vs the 3xxx.

trying to talk myself into some chinese shit

im debating 3070 or 3080.... from a 2060 a jump to 3070 is 74% per synthetics and 134 for the 3080.. only 88% for the 3070ti.. imo it doesnt make sense paying more for the ti for that minimal bump vs the 3070. id be okay custom med/high settings @ 4k for decent frames on the 3070 i think... wouldnt be as good as high/ultra 4k @60+ like the 3080 for most newer games ive seen.. but the 3080 isnt getting 60 fps on say cyberpunk...

probably would undervolt the 3070 too.. to get under that 200w mark and cool as temps..

Being on business in hong kong i can get a colorful 3070 for 624... 658 if i want a white one to match my rig case.. its 724 for a ti and jumps to 922 for a 3080. no taxes either...... even at these lower prices a 3070 colorful is nearly the msrp of whatother mainstream brand 3080s should be.. but i can get atleast 300 for my 2060 and only be in for 324 or 358.. that doesnt sound that bad to me..

these run hot as is and the colorful takes them to another level... so idk about the 3080.. at 922 id rather pay 1-200 more for a brand im familiar with if i can get a deal...one that also has a longer warranty.....i think colorful is 1 year...id also want a FE or gigabyte/asus with the blowers.. but finding a good price for one of those atm.. yeah, nah.

think imma get the colorful 3070 for $624.... will wait til im wobbly drunk... looking at recent sold avg's for used on other brands.. its cheaper in most cases, but New w/Warranty....

really just want to capitalize on resell value of my rtx 2060 while prices are still inflated a tad.. locally they are still going for 350-450 used.. i think i payed 299 new with 2 free games... maybe 284 idk.... if im only in for 200-300 for this upgrade, i wont feel like a bruised vag flap when price are dirt cheap in july.... will feel like vag yeast when rtx 4xxx drops though... cant win them all..

even though im in hong kong on business i cant find a decently priced colorful 3060ti or id get that. seem to be around the 3070 price...watching more real life tests.. the 3060ti seems to be an okay buy for 4k if you can find it cheap and dont mind custom settings.. at 4k dssl and custom setting the 3070 is better but if i could find a 3060ti for 1-150 less id probably do that instead.. cause both at custom 4k is doable fps for me... as is, the 3060 ti is 50% better than my shit and the 3070 has a 74% better effective speed

real world speed ranks:

rtx 2060 ----- 53rd/677
rtx 3060 ti--- 21st/677
rtx 3070 -----14th/677

if only justin fields was a top 14 QB... the bears would be guud

Colorful 3070, has several variants. i discovered the white one that costs a few dollars more is factory OC'ed.. has a button on the back to enable that bios. also the tdp is 240w vs 220w on the slighty cheaper card without the 1 button OC. just manually OC the cheap one? theres better variants but oos here. will be interesting to see how much i can undervolt and oc this... 240w model might have been better for that but im cheap...

sidenote....been diggin deeper on those colorful 3080s advanced... apparently the temp info i got was compared to an evga.. thats like top tier.. but when compared with something like a gigabytes budget eagle variant its easily better.

Burbon talked me out of RGB shit fest in parts i was going to get and was like no to the cheapest RTX 3070.. payed a few quarter pounders more for the white and next cheapest 3070.. they recently had the RTX 3080 Advance Colorfuls going for $812 and that deal will come back around but those colorfuls take 3, 8pin connectors and would require a psu upgrade... so im not waiting for that

Buzzed me says that extra 6mm cooling pipe may be a thing for a degree or 2 lower temps. 7 vs 6 pipes.. the white one also has fan stop.. my rtx 2060 has fan stop and the gpu fans are always off when im not gaming.....its got conduct silver plating, whatever that is....plus that extra 20w tdp when OCing it to TI levels... I know their 3060 Advance non TI card can easily get 16% OC... Im only 9% away from a TI in effective speed at base......so a few coffees more for a more premium card made buzzed sense.

I was going to paint the red, white on the cheaper one and may have to do some custom spray work on the white one. the yellow/red bothers me.. reminds me of DHL packing tape...
