Peavy vs a guy who hasn't even pitched in the majors in 5 years?

Though I still think this whole argument is ridiculous...saying Peavy is better b/c he pitched more innings is just as dumb as saying Prior is better b/c he was more effective in half the time. No one is going to win this argument.

What I am saying for all of you (edit) :) is that you CANNOT COMPARE and say that Prior is better based on 1 full season. Poodski is comparing apples and oranges at this point. Yes it is a dumb arguement.

By all means i am not a fan of peavy since he has been here, but the homerism and the "cubs cant do anything wrong" routine is stale as ****. Get the **** over it, he had 1 good year and that is it, end of the fucking story. lets compare 1 season vs multiple seasons to say who is better. that in itself is flat out fucking Special person. but hey i guess "potential" can be used as a stat these days. :rollingmyfuckingeyesmultiplefuckingtimes:

Fix the title, Peavy isn't on the DL nor is he going on it.

No you just have to understand the simple rules of this board:

Saying anything positive about the Cubs? Homer.

Saying anything positive about the White Sox? Realist.

Its pretty simple honestly.

Learn that and innings are all that matters for pitching and you are all set.

I've changed my ways!

Simple. That is a great word to describe your point of view on this.

Thanks for bringing it into the lexicon!

I'd rather have the great Clayton Richard back.
