Some of us have to back in, so that when we have to start our car, we have to push it first, then pop the clutch to get it to actually start.... Every try the doors hinged in the wrong direction??? I hate you for having me have to tell you this....

I drive a Toyota 4Runner and it's fairly wide, so I totally understand your guys's pain about door dings in parking lots. I've actually had a few arguments with people who I witnessed toss their doors open only to hit my SUV .... ASSHOLES!!!

I don't even bother with the arguments anymore. I just flat out wait for them to leave then I key the shit out of the side of their car. If you show blatant disregard for my property then you will be shown the same courtesy.

You would be flat out surprised how many times I have parked way the **** away from everyone else only to have some assholes come over and park right next to me.

In 95, I just bought a brand new T-Bird..The very next day I went to see a matinee 1PM movie..I pulled into the lot, and there wasnt a car within 1 mile...I parked way at the end and took up 2 spots so some van loaded with kids wouldnt park next to me as Murphy's law would suggest...

When I came out of the movie, every parking spot was taken and there were people riding around from aisle to aisle waiting for a spot to open..It was a Friday.

I immediately thought to myself.."Ut Oh"..As I approached my new car, I saw a note on the windshield..It said " Nice park job asshole"..Then I looked down the side of the T-Bird to see a deep key scratch from front to back

I will never park like that again, and haven't since

BTW..people down here are very respectful and I havent had 1 door ding since moving here

Yeah that has happened to me on several occasions when the shopping trip lasted a few hours and the lot filled up.

It's all personal preference. I personally prefer to back it, easier to get out and its easy to back in just use your mirrors and depth perception it takes a fraction longer then pulling in and you can get out faster. I can drive pretty well backwards probably better then a lot can drive forward so I have no problem pulling up and backing in really quick.

I can understand when people with big trucks do that. But I hate the ******* who take up 2 spots just so no other cars can get near their precious little car.

I was just kidding. When I see people parked like that, it makes me want to key their car just because.

See, I never take up multiple spots unless it's late and I'm needing to stop at an ATM--then I take the "executive parking spot" making sure I'm through the cripple spot, a normal spot, and the "no parking" zone...just because. :).

But I always stay in the spot if I'm actually parking--even if it's all the way across the lot. If someone does a reasonable job of parking considering the circumstances, I'll be extra careful of their ride. If not, oops. Douchbaggery begets douchebaggery.

There must be more assholes where you live. I've seen that happen, but not often. Most often out here if someone parks out in BFE, they assume they are an employee or can't be arsed to walk.

Its Chicago man. No shortage of assholes and dumbfucks for miles.

Canyonero?

Man, I haven't heard that name in a long time.

I have a Suburban and sometimes in a tight parking lot it's easier to back into a spot.

Is it one of those mammoth '90s Suburbans with the 454 big block? :fap:

Thats like when someone is backing up, and they have no sense of how close they are to whatever is behind them... So they stop backing up 50 ft before even getting close to it..Then struggle turning the wheel to pull forward. This may repeat itself 2-3 times before they can pull out of whatever mess they got themselves into..

Check out this manuver

How in the world did that go on for almost five minutes lol? It looked like she (I presume) had it somewhere around the two-minute mark but, nope! Still got another couple minutes of Special person left in the tank.

You would be flat out surprised how many times I have parked way the **** away from everyone else only to have some assholes come over and park right next to me.
