You don't like qbr and I met with you on that, I think yards is moronic bc weather, scheme and some teams pass more due to being in domes aka no weather.

You're trying to bet on Jay being top 12. If he's not top 12 in yards or TDs (which i want to base the bet on), then how would he be top 12? There's no other option to base a QB off of.

His ability to make plays when it counts, scrambling ability, 3rd down conversions(which he was one of best at I think last year according to an article), 4th quarter comebacks, ability to work with little and total shit as personnel and coaching

I just gave you stats Jay excels at. 4th quarter comebacks, 3rd down completion percentage and apparently qbr.

So when you rank QBs, you rank them off of 4th quarter comebacks and 3rd down completion percentage? You're lying. Not a single person in the entire world does that. They use yards and TDs.

and no he doesn't "excel" at QBR. It's just a dumb stat invented 5 years ago which I literally do not understand (nor does anyone else apparently). Look at the QBR rankings from 2013, 2014, and 2015 and try not to laugh. Romo #1 QB in the entire NFL? c'mon.

Airing it out all the time and yards doesn't mean shit; isn't stafford always one of best in yards? Doesn't mean he's top 10-12 in NFL. He's behind Jay. Jay does more with less and his ability to move in pocket is awesome

Yes that is cherry picking because how can you possibly compare that to 31 other nfl starters? Yes he's good at 4th quarter comebacks, the stats show that.
What even constitutes as a 4th quarter comeback? 3 pts? 7 pts? 10 pts? It's not a stat that can be used in a bet like this. What if other QBs have no chances at a 4th quarter comeback this year? How would that be fair?
That's just an asinine stat to use to determine the Top 12 best QBs. You just don't want to bet on Jay's actual stats because you know he won't finish top 12 in yards or TDs. Because he probably never has.

Ok great. He's good at 4th quarter comebacks. He lacks in every other department. Yards, TDs, INTs, etc. So he's good at something. I don't get how that pertains to the bet.
So are we not betting then? I want to bet on Jay's yard and TDs since that's how everyone else judges a QB. If you feel Jay won't be top 12 in Yards or TDs then don't take the bet.

In your scenario. Let's say Cutler has 3 fourth quarter comebacks. Brady only has 2. Rodgers has 1.
Cutler throws 25 TDs and 15 INTs. Brady 40 TDs and 10 INTs. Rodgers 37 TDs, 6 INTs.
Is Cutler better than both of them that year? of course not. That doesn't make sense.
