Obviously, pure speculation on his part but what isn’t this time of year.

Assuming Pace misses out on the top 5, could this be his guy?

Nagy likes a pocket passer and he did play well against the very best SEC teams in 2020 and you throw out the Cotton bowl where the top 4 receivers didn’t play.

George loves the pick and extends Pace/Nagy another 4 years regardless of record.

CCS has another epic meltdown,

According to NBC Sports' Peter King, Trask could be selected in the first round. During his Football Morning in America column published earlier this week, King stated, "I’m starting to think Kyle Trask, the Florida quarterback, has a good chance to be the sixth first-round quarterback. Starting to think:"

Still have a feeling he goes to NE in the 2nd round.

Won't be shocked if he does go in the late 20's, however. Plenty of QB needy teams trying to get "value" at the qb position.

Lets just hope its not the bears doing it.

Hmm!

If they can get trask in the 2nd I'd like that after going OT in the first.

Issue is you don't like trask.

Yea, I'm fine with trask in the 2nd. Never said I wasn't.

#20 is a different story. I'd learn to live with it but this whole board would be raging the moment it happened, myself included.

I like Trask, he's a pure pocket passer in a league that over values everything else at draft time. The game is still won and lost in the pocket. Hence why Tom Brady continues to win Super Bowls despite never having any athleticism whatsoever.

Not saying Trask is Brady obviously, but he's going to play in the NFL a lot longer than most of the guys drafted above him.

Yea, that’s why they are opinions, my man.

no ,saying the 9ers are gon take Trubiski is an objective statement. a prediction if you will. that was proven wrong

an opinion is a statement of feeling that cannot be disproven

Ian Book is clearly the 4th best QB on that list.

Here's the combined rank.

Jones 2
Wilson 4
Trask 6
Book 9
Lawrence 13
Fields 13
Mills 14
Mond 16
Ehlinger 16
Newman 18

What this shows is the pass pro was able to pick up the blitz and pressure for Jones, Wilson, Trask and Lawrence . These stats don't show being physically flushed outta the pocket and have to make a play on the move.

I don't see how you can say that. 5 for sure. I think as many as 7 could go in the 1st. (Trask and Mills).

Because the “experts” predict more qb’s going in the first round every year than actually do. As much as teams need a QB, they’re not going to reach that far based on the grades of other players. That’s like saying teams would take a 3 round graded Tackle in the first round because they “need” one and all of 1st round graded ones are gone.
