When you're this wrong about what I think and what I cite it's no wonder you dislike me so much. You're wrong about my thoughts and what you think my opinions are that you have an entirely different idea of who I am.

If you want to disagree with my opinion or my analysis or things that I actually say that's fine.

But so often you're wrong on things you think I've said that I've never said. I'll say it again I won't use passer rating ever.

Do you want me to cite for the QB DVOA stats and rankings from Football Outsiders that has Trevor Lawrence 11th in the NFL?

I mean I get it this board hates Lawrence and they cite his perceived struggles as reason to keep Justin Fields but no one else feels the way this board does.

Let me give you another example. Over the last four year's Josh Allen has more turnovers than any QB in the NFL. And Allen is only second in the NFL to Mahomes in yards TDs and wins in that same four year period. Yet there's some perception that Josh Allen isn't good.
Thought you were done conversing with me? This rant doesn’t make Lawrence any better

QBR is a made up ESPN stat and is not the greatest. Quarterback rating over an entire season is a pretty good metric of QB play. Its not the end all be all but it is a way to objectively compare QB's instead of the eye ball test.
every advanced stat is "made up." wtf

QBR is miles better than quarterback rating, which does not take game situation into context. nor factor in things like a screen pass being broken for a long TD, which the QB should not get much credit for

QBR Quarterback rating if you haven't figured out the difference yet please don't converse with me anymore. I don't use passer rating for anything.
I always use Tony Gwynn as the example of the best hitter I've ever seen. When I make those arguments should I no longer include his batting average since that was a stat from 1880?

So you believe that batting average is comparable to passer rating?

Please feel free to expand upon this.

US GDP for 2022 was up 9%, buuuuuuuuut that metric was created in 1934. We certainly don't want to judge our economy based off a metric from 1934.

Not surprisingly, my main point is flying over your head. If you want to say passer rating is a bad metric, say it's a bad metric. You said we shouldn't use a metric from 1970, as if how old the metric is what matters.

Tbf he hate the bmi metric
It's not the point. There are limitations to nearly every metric around. The point is @DanielCCSBears didn't care to give his reasons why he thought the passer rating was wrong to use. He just said it's from 1970. Which is a fucking stupid argument to make. He probably made the argument because he is fucking stupid.

You honestly believe that the Lions are Super Bowl contenders? Jared Goff flirts with mediocrity and is the ultimate game manager. The Lions are like the Eagles more likely on the cusp of ruin than back to back NFC Title contenders.

The Packers have one of the worst defenses in football and the Vikings are about to change QBs and the best QBs should be off the board by the time the Vikings pick. The division and the conference are wide open if the Bears pick the right QB.

I keep forgetting that I'm dealing with Cubs and Sox fans that are used to losing.

The Bears didn't pick the right QB and the Commanders seemingly did and the wide open conference is falling into the hands of the Commanders. Is Matthew Stafford still good enough to stop the Daniels express?

Can anyone stop Thanos Mahomes or are the Chiefs inevitable?
