That kind of bat can make me a believer in Rizzo. That was a tough lefty. He knew the situation and hit smart. Beautiful.

He's hitting .296/.406/.407 on the season which is great to see. OBP will probably come down 20-30 points at the least but this is why I was behind him in the off season. A 20-30 point uptick in his BA makes him a pretty good player. Obviously a 60 point or whatever it is at the moment is even better.

I'm glad to see Castro hitting as well. He's hitting .321/.345/.571 on the season. I do still worry though that if he's the .300 hitter he's been in the past he may still be a pretty average .320ish OBP even with his .300 average. I'd feel a lot better if he can get into that .330-.340 OBP range like he was his first 2 years.
