Went to the northside Pequod's by the movie theater recently with with a friend.
Had cheesy bread and split a small or medium pizza.
Wasn't impressed at all...thoughts on whether that location is weaker than the others?

I tend to go through phases with pizza places/styles but lately I've been going to Coalfire on Grand. It's pretty damn good especially if you like Neapolitan style.

I saw someone eating this the other day at California Pizza Kitchen. It's literally a salad on top of pizza dough, and they call it a salad pizza. Was wondering, what do Chicagoans think of CPK? Last time I was in Chicago, the CPK restaurant in downtown was virtually deserted. I always thought CPK was some fruity California thing, but when I first tried some of their pizza, it was actually pretty decent.

CPK has some interesting takes on pizza...if some can even be called such. I've had one of their salad pizzas...it was solid, but not something I'd order myself. Definitely many other places I'd go to for pizza over CPK.
