My favorite teams
The government knows everything about you anyway
never touched a pokemon game... likely never will.
I'm a Nintendo fan(not fanboy, IDGAF and use all systems). But I wont touch this. Security issues galore. Blocks users from participating if your phone is rooted or jailbroken(which is a good way to audit the processes on a device, so hmmmmmmmm) but it will still keep tracking your data anyways.
Pokemon Go has access to your entire Google account.

What security "issues" are still present after this latest update? They seemed to have addressed every concern people have (had).
Addressing concerns with words that can't be independently audited are worth jack shit. Notice the game still has a EULA that explicit says they have every right to datamine users and sell that information.
Here's a pretty good article.

From the 14th, and if you keep reading, it includes 1.02, the latest version.
Despite the risks these issues raise, Stansberry plays Pokémon Go with her son.
"By closing that particular loophole (for Google account access), Pokémon Go will be much more on par with other location-based apps," Kennedy said. "I think this is something we’re going to see increasingly, as virtual reality and augmented reality apps become more popular, and I think these privacy issues are going to become of greater concern."
Privacy is a fallacy, she said.
"There’s a big gap between what we believe is private, and what information is really out there about us," Stansberry said. "Did you use your debit card at Target? They’re tracking your purchases so they know how to better target you for ads. CVS does the same thing. Let’s say every month you buy a pregnancy test and then, suddenly you stop buying pregnancy tests. Now you get a coupon for diapers."
This game is hilariously fun. Anyone else download it?
A true pokemaster can chase tail AND pokemon. No, I like pussy!
I figured that you might snip that part of the article. Yay journalism, we found someone who uses it and doesn't care about it. Like finding an article on heroine abuse and finding an expert to quote that says they don't care because something something benefit and use it with their kids. That does not make it a valid point about not bearing compoundable risks.I liked this quote from the article you posted crys.
Just seems like a whole lot of uproar about something that is more than likely 99.99% safe, or at the very least is as safe as something a shit ton of people participate in without batting an eye. :dunno:

I don't care about other people using it. My point, the one that still stands, is that this is not something I will touch. Why that bothers you, IDK. Until people stand up and fight for transparency, they wont get it. That simple. If you don't care, then why do you care about what I think? There are things on my devices that are mine, and not for anyone to datamine. LOL @ CVS example, that is such a crock of shit to what actually occurs in datamining. Some of it is used to better target you for promotions and ads, yes. SOME of it, not all of it. As data breaches show constantly how often datamining leads to further exploits. It's a net negative to the consumer.
Hope you didn't get hit with the poison shroomBRB, playing Super Mario Go
It's telling me to go down a manhole and eat some kind of fungus.... Welp, only one way to find out.
