What do your golf doctor sources telling you? Did he have a rod inserted before too?Why isn't he AARPn like cutler to get his ass back on field?
Seriously tho, it's not the trainers fault; this is his 2nd year with this issue. I will say he's got to get on the field to earn that paycheck he wants.
And dan may have sources telling him this, guys. Pompei is a pretty well respected writer.

I watched Alshon in practice at training camp. I don't question his competitive spirit. I do question the trainers. Soft tissue injuries usually come from inadequate stretching or warming up the muscles before trying to "GO" or imbalances elsewhere in the muscle group.
And it's not mental toughness that stopping you from going full speed, it's the muscle itself not being able to perform because it's damaged. Continuing to push it when it's damaged will lead to more damage. I once pulled my hamstring so bad it sounded like a gun going off. Because I didn't properly let it heal afterwards and I kept trying to come back too soon, it was more than six months before it was healthy.
Yeah. If we tag Alshon next year and sign him with his new first year being 2017 on a 5 year deal, we could possibly trade him or even release him after his 2nd or 3rd year if White turns out to be a stud. Don't have much experience here, just stating a thought.

So how long ago did Jeffery have a fake leg implantedWrong guy. The guy I met at the wedding worked with the Bears medical staff in sales.
At a golf outing I met a guy who is good friends with some people in the organization.

I feel like I'm missing something. This season is the only season he's actually missed time due to soft-tissue injuries. Last season, he had some hamstring problems early in the season and at the end of the season, but he didn't miss a single game. In his first season, he injured his hand, which was broken, and he hurt his knee, a ligament issue. This season is the first time he's missed significant time for soft tissue, so is it just more of a perception from this season alone? Or have I just somehow omitted an entire season from my head without noticing?
This guy wants to be a #1 WR and he can't even stay on the field. I don't know what his future with this team is...
He's done a good job keeping his body fat down after all the fat knocks coming out of college. But he hasn't muscled up much, this being his 4th year in the league. The pics I've seen of him from Family Fest & the recent games, he looks slight for a star wideout.
Guys like Marshall & Forte are workout monsters. They're built like brick shithouses. Even if it's anecdotal, the guys who train the hardest seem to be on the field the most (going back to Walter & Jerry Rice).
