After the fantastic draft, I’m bumping my prediction up to 10-7. Hell, the punter alone might win us an extra game.

(I’m half kidding with that last sentence)

Alright, if you need something to pass the time for the next seven hours, and you're sick of mock drafts, predict the Bears record for the upcoming season. Feel free to go game by game, but since we don't have the exact schedule yet, it might be easier to predict how many wins from each of the following three groups:

Group 1 (6 divisional games): Lions, at Lions, Vikings, at Vikings, Packers, at Packers
Group 2 (6 non-divisional home games): Rams, Seahawks, Jaguars, Titans, Panthers, Patriots
Group 3 (5 non-divisional road games): Cardinals, 49ers, Texans, Colts, Commanders

I'll say 3 wins from Group 1, 4 wins from Group 2, and 2 wins from Group 3.

9-8 record, and a Wild Card spot.
For a different perspective, how many Losses are reasonable to expect this season?

1) 3-3 baseline, 4-2 doable. (split GB & DET, sweep MN)
2) 4-2 (L to 2 of LAR, SEA, or any other fluke L)
3) 3-3 baseline (L to 49rs, and 2 of: IND / HOU / AZ)

= 10-7 or better

as usual, they L another that should be a W on paper, and beat one of the "tougher" games considered an L above. 🤷‍♂️

4 from group 1 (I think we sweep Minnesota)
3 from group 2 (wins vs Tennessee, Carolina, NE)
3 from group 3 (wins vs AZ, Indy, Washington)

8-9 seems like the bare minimum, anything less would be a disappointing season. 9-7 Seems like a reasonable expectation. Anything over 10 and this city will be lit!! As my son would say. Lol 😂
