Brouwer

Hendry

Sharp

Versteeg

Frazer

there are a lot of AHL players that make it up to the NHL. By the looks of Morins skills he can't get much more out of Jr's. He'll be three steps ahead of most of them, and not have challenge.

Similar to Kane. No way would Jr's have done any more for his game if he didn't stay with the Hawks year #1.

He can learn far more in Rockford, playing against much older players, than he can smoking everyone in Kitchener.
Good points RK... I just couldn't think of any "great" players that played in the AHL. I guess I'm expecting too much from Morin.

My brother would really miss him though!

I think Kitchener would as well. He'd probably put up 120pts. But at that point is it really challenging? I hope he continues like he is. If he does losing Versteegs 20 something goals won't be so noticeable other than the PK time, which Morin will have to learn.

I think most of the team are really impressed with a few of these new guys. The talent level is surprisingly high. Even for guys like Gilbert that was already sent down.

Anyone questioning the Hawks depth in talent isn't paying attention that's for sure. Hell they could have easily won tonight against almost the entire starting Wings line up. That's comical.

Except for the kid who scored the first goal, I pretty much saw all regulars as well, lol... DETROIT SUCKS!

off hand the Wings were only missing Franzen, Hudler, Rafalski, Bertuzzi, and ablicator. Unless I was missing something that's 75% full line up.

Franzen apparently is fine, he practiced today but didn't play thanks to the dickhead knee-on-knee by Orpik.

Do you think we might see a John Scott vs Todd Bertuzzi run in tomorrow? I don't know if even Bertuzzi is that DUMB.

I would guess you'll see a fairly full line up tomorrow night. All I now for sure is Pat.
Per Adam Jahns. . .

Turco will start the full game Saturday and many of the veterans will be in the lineup. Yes, 88 and 19 are considered vets. #Blackhawks

I hope to see Hossa play. I have to admit, in his post-practice press interview video posted on ESPNChicago today as well as his answers to the press in general since camp started last weekend I am a little nervous that he only keeps saying his knee is "getting" stronger or "feels" better from the MCL sprain he suffered in Game 1 of the Finals. Sounds like he is still bracing it too. That was almost 12 weeks ago which normally should be enough time to heal even a Grade 3 MCL sprain. Hmmm. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best on this front.

If he isnt 100% I'd sit him all of camp. Now he's played in every scrimmage so I don't see him sitting out.

Yeah, I suspect we'll see him. But make no mistake as a Hossa fangurl I *am* concerned that at 12 weeks he's still bracing that ******. Maybe it's age, i.e., Toews being a decade younger explains why he says his Finals MCL sprain is healed as one would expect by now. Who knows right? But the Hawks medical and training staff better damn well keep in the forefront of their thoughts that they're dealing with the same pure hockey STUD who went to DET two seasons ago with his shoulder already junked up from his stint in PIT, played the whole season/post-season with DET where it got worse and then only finally got some surgery on it after the Playoffs and once he was a Hawk. Admirable to be willing to play in pain or discomfort to be sure (it goes to his character which is a large part of his amazing hockey STUD-ness!) but the Hawks are gonna need him to be as healthy as is reasonably possible this title defense season so I don't wanna see his season derailed because of stupid decisions.

Sorry guys, granted that was basically an AHL team against an NHL team last night, and a preseason game to boot, Crawford did not impress me. He was overplaying everything, and controlling nothing in my opinion. Flame away, but I am worried about the #2 position for now. I realize that was Crawf's first action in preseason, but he should be better then what he showed. Especially having played with alot of that D corps we saw last night in Rockford

Well I hope Campbell is planning on playing better in the regular season. Those two breakaways he gave up in a row were pathetic for a veteran.

So far Crawford has been the most impressive goalie in Camp. Period.

Last night he had NO top tier NHL defensemen in front of him and stopped 33 of 36 shots. Of those the quality shots from guys like Zetterburg, Datsuck, ect ect proves he played well as he did NOT get shelled.

I mean did you see the defense in front of him?????

I'm not worried about either goalie because we have these guys called Seabrook, Keith, Hjarlmarsson, Campbell that will be in front of them. of which only ONE of the four played last night. While Detroit was 5 players short of a FULL LINE UP!

I'm surprised at you Bubble.
Kyle Beach is a 100% cement head.
While I'd agree he had an AWFUL game... from the turnover that led to the first goal to the late pussy hit that got him a penalty... He just looks like he's trying WAY TOO HARD out there instead of just letting his natural abilities take control.

You know what got him noticed last night Grimson. Hawks score a goal and shortly after Beach takes another selfish penalty. Wings scored on the ensuing PP, which was disallowed due to Holmstrom clearly standing in the crease.

Beach will be in Rockford until he can un screw his head out of his ass and THINK while he's playing.

I agree with this but he did lay out some juicy rebounds that the Scum did'nt take advantage of.
