Proof that Bears fans are absolutely clueless when it comes to evaluating OL play.

To @BaBaBlacksheep's point... one thing to mention is the idea that the Bears had an ok or serviceable line. I know some advanced metrics can show it to be average. But, in a world the OL is getting big paydays, former starters Nate Davis and Matt Pryor are jobless. Then you have Shelton, Jenkins, Borom, and Curhan getting pretty small contracts (less than 20 million total).

This is why the Bears still need to address the OT position and I think they will at some point.

Regarding the WRs, to be fair they all had a shot at hitting 1000 yards but then offense and play calling was pathetic. Despite that, they were all pretty close to hitting 1000 yards each.

QB play was pretty pathetic too.

Caleb was one of the worst QB's in the nfl over 10 yards. Guy was just downright awful outside the short game.

Yeah that didn’t help the WRs at all either. I just factored that into Offense in general.

Yes he got a good salary for a mediocre/bad player.

In no world would a good player be happy with that contract.

So is he trash/bad or not? Mediocre and trash/bad are very different things IMO

I think he is mediocre/bad.

I would agree he isn't complete garbage.

I do think he is a quality depth player with flexibility. I do not think he is a starting quality player on a team that is hoping to compete for playoffs. By this metric you could say he is trash.

This is evidence, not proof. And it’s flimsy at best. If they were decent OL I bet they’d be re-signed instead of resigned

Wait... I was told repeatedly by PFF/CCS that Teven was great, Braxton is great, the Bears Oline was great, and that it was all Justin Fields fault that they looked terrible...

Allen and Odunze were both over 250 yards short of a 1000 receiving yards , so all 3 were not pretty close

How is 250 not close? With a competent offensive and play calling, that could have easily happen haha. That’s nothing when averaging it out in 17 games. Go take your pills, dumbass.

so if someone owes you $1000, and they pay you $750, that's close enough?
yisus, that is only 3/4 of the way there...............
no, not close.

I have to agree with the pretend Lions fan with the weird fish infatuation that being 25% away on a prediction is not close.

Am I on a payment plan? Do I have 17 months to pay it off? Is there interest?

Stfu with your stupid analogy.
