Could have been a volunteer firefighter. I know many that have emergency lights in their personal cars, and they also have EMT training, carry some basic equipment with them. etc

Possible I guess. I know I’ve also seen the IL state police use a black Mustang and I’ve seen a few Dodge Chargers as well. They were completely unmarked.

Again, I don't know how things work up in Illinois, it's been to long time, but in NC the ONLY vehicles allowed Blue Lights are law enforcement. Red lights are fire and ambulance and the volunteer fire guys. In fact, going along with the impersonating an officer thingy in NC, you can not even HAVE blue lights in a vehicle it is illegal (if your not law enforcement).

So if I am a criminal I want to use blue lights for sure in trying to trick ya, right?

Heh, just don't pull over a police officer on his way home from work. But, again, it isn't illegal here to use a cell, call 911 if your uncertain who's pulling you over. The first happened to my cousin, got into a road rage incident with a police officer in his personal car, the officer got out of the car with a crowbar, my cousin pulled his pistol, then the officer identified himself as a police officer pulling his badge. My cousins pistol was confiscated, he was sternly warned and released. Never got the pistol back. This happened back in the 70's, I bet things would be different now. Probably shoot the officer and claim self defense... Crazy world.

One time on armitage a nondescript compact was just parked in the left lane well between intersections. I yelled something rude at it as I passed and it pulled me over a hundred feet later. Fml

I was trying to get the media to finally show a black cop, beating the hell out of a white guy.

Yeah I figured they might care when you dragged me by my foot to where they were shooting a segment and then resumed the beating.... but they gave us the Jay-Cutler treatment.... was a real let down
