Let’s make this a more interesting thread and talk about pizza instead.
I used to work at Pizza Hut to get through college. We called ourselves pizza sluts. Even after 5 years of working there and bringing pizza home most nights, it still tastes good to me (except their hand tossed, that crust just sucks at Pizza Hut).

So when a qb isn't successful; throwing picks and fumbling; the team struggles?

Damn, I learn something new every day.

I am guessing good GMs already know this and work hard to protect those QBs with good offensive linemen to get the QBs to perform best. I hope Poles reads this thread and learns something he clearly does not know. Thank goodness for this OP and earth shattering revelation.

The Bears problem over the decades is getting turnovers but not having a QB that can score with the ball after a turnover. Usually it's a 3-and-out or a field goal. Hopefully, we can have both now.

It's like getting an offensive rebound and missing the shot.

Just would like to point out that Ben Johnson is on the same wavelength as I've been preaching and said so in his press conference:

"It's clear that modern football in the NFL is quarterback driven. You can look at analytics, quarterback success is a higher predictor of winning and losing than turnover ratio and it's been that way for 20 years"

Indeed this goes exactly with what I said the Bears focusing so much on the turnover battle has been detrimental to the team winning.

Exactly…

This year the Bears were in the top 10 in turnover differential but, only won 5 games.

It also took away some of Caleb’s aggression and made him overly cautious. Trying to play Eberflus ball.

Also all the instances of still losing to GB for the last 30 years but having a better turnover differential than the Packers. While the Packers had QBs.
Sure thing. I think you’ve got it!
