I'm halfway paid off and I'm not even 28 yet. I'm working to achieve Ommy status!!!!!
Purchasing and playing Monopoly with Dumpsters passes as a mortgage nowadays? I can see why you're half way there.

Even though wages might not have been great, do you regret leaving your job like you did? I quit a job because of emotions early on in my life. I kind of regret it now looking at the person that is now running the firm. Plus the clients i just left behind and connections i burned.

Do I regret? No, I need a break. I have lived this restaurant for a year and a half. Its a hard life especially on top of school. My whole day is consumed with the industry. I can stay if I want. I could probably take two weeks off and then go back. The owner is young like me. He just backed the wrong horse. I was struggling with staylng or leaving for the past month and then it was just the last straw. My plans are much bigger then this restaurant could ever be, but it always be a place I hope makes it for a long time. They were good to me. Maybe not money wise, but thats not what it was all about. I mean I make a good wage but I can get benefits and more other places. Im not a spring chicken anymore and I need to start going with what I plant to do. Ive become complacent and when you become complacent you dont grow. I have a lot of things to learn still and I need to see it on a grander scale

There you go. If you ever have a question let me know. Been in restaurant management since I graduated college.

Thanks man. I know you know the struggle. The industry will make you nuts.
