Yeah I get that but you would have also traded a top RB who has a few more years in him for an unproven RB which dealt with injury issues already. If you were getting more out the trade like you did with Kamara, then yes it’s something to think about. But you made it seem like it was Henry for Akers straight up, which I don’t know if that’s the case.

That’s too bad. I hate to see any player get seriously injured. Akers was definitely trending upward. His improved vision and contact balance really started to show later in the season. I think he was poised to breakout this year.

Henderson has talent but it’s doubtful he can handle a big load.

Henderson is faster and more explosive and had a higher ypc than Akers. Bring in a vet power type and they should be ok,

We’ll see. Maybe they’ll bring back Gurley. I thought Henderson was explosive at Memphis but he went down pretty easy in the AAC.

Rams used Henderson at the goal line over brown last year which seemed crazy to me as brown was a bruiser

Which is hoping for the unrealistic. Dalton will be extremely below average, Goldman won’t record a sack, and the better coached team with the better QB will win.

I just don’t see a realistic scenario that dalton is the better option. If so, either dalton remarkably improves under Nagys system, or Fields isn’t the guy the bears thought they were getting.
