The loser donates $100 to the forum in the winners behalf.
Just think, you could actually become a donator!
I agree. Bears finish higher than the Lions and $100 in the name of Xplosive and vice versa to @nc0gnet0.

Win-win for the forum.

Vikes still have the best WR group until proven otherwise.

CB group
QB
Is about it.
Really, the only player that matters in grading a QB room is the starter and in no reality is Caleb the divisions best QB

Talent wise he is by a mile

Time to actually put it on display on the field.

He was a ton better as a rookie than shitty ass jared goofy.

you all make this claim every year, said the same thing about Fields, always blaming the OL, WR'S or coaches for his failings, only to find out later that Fields was the problem all along

Most of those things are true at one time or another. Hopefully CW has a higher ceiling than Goff.

'Cause we've already seen JG's best

Fields was the most talented QB in the north.

Talent doesnt translate to production on the field.

That being said caleb is even more talented than fields, much more. Every NFC North team would gladly swap their current QB for caleb.

That's my point, then consider he's cost controlled for 4 more years.

He could bust to some degree, but for the moment, he's definitely the most talented with the most upside. He has to put it all together on the field though on a consistent basis before we can say he's currently the best in the division though.

Qb - detroit
Rb - Detroit
WR - Minnesota
TE - Minnesota
OL - Detroit
DL - Minnesota
Lbs - Bears. Minnesota if you lump in their 3-4 edge rushers Van Ginkel and Greenard
DBs - Bears slight edge over GB.
K - Minnesota
P - def not the weak legged Aussie.

HC - Kevin O’Connell.

I have a hard time giving the Bears the edge at LB. Edmunds is not good and we have no idea who the 3rd starting LB is right now after losing Sanborn.

If we’re talking straight off ball LBs, then it’s them by a hair. Pace and Cashman are really good in Minnesota, and if we’re talking financial value then it’s them.

GB has the 2nd rounder Cooper from a year ago who’s made some plays and has been punked.

Detroit has the 1st round kid Campbell and Malcolm Rodriguez, whose fame has faded after he was a hit on hard knocks a few years back.

Rodriguez was on IR last year, as was Derrick Barnes. Both will return this year.
I disagree with you giving Minnesota the nod in TE's.
Chicago no doubt has the best corner, but if you grade the secondary as a group, I think Detroit is better by a hair, and that is because the Lions safeties are far and away better than the Bears.

Now, if you throw out this breakdown by group BS, and just rank rosters as a whole................................

1) Lions
2a) Minny
2b) Bears
3) GB

Minny and the Bears are close, and I have no idea how to rate QB play for each team. It would seem the Bears have the edge, yet Kevin O'connel is a miracle worker with QB's.

Lions have the best safeties. They are worst as far as corners go, unless Arnold takes a big old jump this year.

Laporta had a better 24 than an injured Hockenson, but CJ Ham (yes, I know he’s used more as a FB, but I’ll lump him in because he is sometimes used as a Y TE) is better as a blocker than Detroits TE2. Oliver, minnesota’s actual TE2, has better range/route tree as well. If we’re strictly looking at individual TE1, it’s Detroit. If we’re looking at TE room as a whole, it’s Minnesota.

Don't agree on the TE but other than that pretty damn good.

In Allen's defense he does not use three LB's even in his base. His D is 4-2-5 even in base.

I would flip Bears and Minny simply because of QB. Williams has far more potential.
