I really don't get this comment. I'm besting Anytime. All of you thank banging him have yet to even come to his defense. There is no questioning the dude is a whiny complainer. He doesn't take positive stances on what the Bears do. Just trolls anyone with an opinion or is supportive of the Bears.

For as many posts Anytime makes its funny that no one can even back uo his claims that he does indeed make stances. He has to pull up a few random threads for years apart to try and make a case. Outside of Greg Roman, is there any other stance he has ever made in favor of the Bears? He may have tried to safely make one or two guarded stances this offseason but thats because people like me calling him out for always criticizing current staff and not taking any stances.

I'm not sure you understand what "ties to the GM" means. Any GM that comes into a new gig, all media will say regarding high priced players or prior drafted players on the roster as "the new regime doesn't have any ties to X player."

Yeah it's kinda hard not to get, i just don't go off of what the media says. I already said that i get that he doesn't have any ties to him from the fact that he didn't draft him but because this kid is now on his team and is a young 2nd year player that he now inherits some ties to any young player. As soon as he signed to be the Bears GM he inherits that team whether he drafted them or not which ties him to these players to do what he wants with.

Again, this is speculation. It may end up being true but no one is reporting exactly why Jenkins is at practice. No one knows if the coaching staff disciplined him. No one knows if he is choosing to skip out due to immaturity. No one knows anything.

It's OK to speculate, but many aren't framing it that way on this thread. To say something as if it is fact when know one knows is malicious and reckless to me..

Well, we could look at this situation from a different angle...............

There is a line from the old Dirty Harry movie...............Mans got to know his limitations. Perhaps Jenkins knows his limitations in Getsy's offense. Perhaps he knows that as a power player he will never be successful in this offense, and it is Jenkins and his agent that have requested a trade. Then for Poles it would come down to if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Only my speculation, my opinion.

Don't think anyone has brought this option up that maybe Jenkins and his agent don't like the fit and are going the way of demanding a trade.

Poles has no idea if the guy has talent or not. Jenkins is the one deciding not to practice with the team for unknown reasons. So Poles has no obligation to keep him on the team just because he was a 2nd round pick. That means nothing and has zero relevance to Poles. Yes the Bears are in rebuild mode and that’s why Poles decided to draft 4 offensive linemen. Poles is moving forward with his guys.

I try to stay out of these sorts of marathon squabbles spawned by delusionary obsession with a poster and not what he actually posts. Just tell him he's not a real Bears fan and move on.

if I'm understanding correctly they're trying to assimilate the boy into their new system and he's just not cooperating. I don't follow college players, but there was apparently a lot of dirt on the dude coming into the draft on this subject. believe me, I agree with you that if you could salvage something from Jenkins based on his draft status, I would. Pace set the team back with his outlandish trade scenarios, this being one of them.

I think Eberflus/Poles are trying to set a precedent that if you want to be a dickhead, you get out. maintaining the locker room will pay dividends over time.
