It's fucking twisted. It's starts off veeeery strange but settles in nicely.I plan on watching the perfection tonight I’ve heard nothing but good things

Also saw "Into the Spidey Verse" recently. Very good movie, but drug on at times. Especially when they were going around introducing all the different dimensional Spidey's. Felt like that was done very inefficiently.
I gave it a 9/10 because it didn't have enough Doc HollidayThe animation seems so weirdly drawn (?) to me but I will probably give it a go anyway soon.
Tombstone is 10/10 by the way. If it isn't then 10 itself is not even real.
The animation is really catchy. Maybe the coolest part of the movie. Very good. Not a distraction imo. It "makes" the movie. The animation seems so weirdly drawn (?) to me but I will probably give it a go anyway soon.

Dark Phoenix was not good. Messy story and a mediocre script that at times got bad. I don’t think it’s the worst X-men movie. I would have enjoyed the move a tad more if I hadn’t seen the trailer. What could have been a somewhat emotional scene didn’t do anything since they spoiled the shit in the trailer. Won’t mention it in case someone hasn’t seen the trailers for it, but if you have seen them then you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Ok so Dark Phoenix 7.5 / 10
The thing I didn't realize going in....is that this movie represents an alternate character to Jean Grey ( I never read the comic book version). There's a lot going on in this movie, so I'll probably have to see it again, from a "alternate character" perspective.
You have a really generous rating for it compared to most I’ve seen. It’s getting scorched
Ready Player One - 8/10
Had it in the queue for a while and finally watched it on my flight home on Tuesday.
I think it is a genuinely entertaining movie/story even if you're not a major video game geek, but even more so if you are.
Only knock, if you want to consider it a knock, is it felt at times like there was more depth/detail to parts of the story/character relationships which had to be trimmed down for the movie, but likely had more to them in the book.
However, I think almost every movie based off a solid book will have those.
Just a few moments in the movie felt like they wanted it to payoff on a character or story investment which they clearly hadn't made in the movie, but I'm guessing was made in some form in the book.
Interesting. How does it compare to The Wizard?
