If you are talking about taking a wide-open shot, then perhaps. But they are allowed to play defense in the NBA, and it was much easier to defend Kerr and Hodges than Allen and Miller. If we are playing this game, then I'd say that Jon Sundvold and Mike Iuzzolini were arguably better shooters than Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

I'm talking about purely on a wide-open basis. Obviously, Miller and Allen both had the kind of height, speed, and athleticism that benefitted their shooting when they were being closely guarded. It's my fault for really trying to compare those guys to guys like Kerr and Hodges because they are different animals altogether.

I still would have Reggie Miller take the last shot over Ray Allen but that's as far as I will go anymore.

I love him. he is such a good all around team player. I hope that he remains a celtic for all of his days! <3
