I heard one of the reasons why Ray allen chose MIA over BOS is because he pretty much couldn't stand Rondo.

Yeah because watching only 3-4 teams be able to compete for a title is soooooo much more fun.

It's fun when your team is one of them. This is no longer the case so now everyone's pissed...including myself.

I've loved Ray Allen since they day he came into the league...but now knowing that he picked the Heat over us (for the same amount of money, or even less money if we end up having the full MLE) is just infuriating.

It's like I said awhile ago in another thread, I'd be surprised if Ray Allen signed with us for $3M, but I wouldn't be shocked if he did that with Miami. Look what happened. I'm really not surprised...just pissed off. What is it about Chicago that makes NO ONE want to play here?

I don't know why, Rondo set him up with corner threes all the time.

Steve Nash makes the Lakers improve much more than the Heat improve with Ray Allen.

Obviously, the Heat are going to improve but this is more of a regular season move than anything else. The scary thing is that now Miami can cut Wade's minutes and allow him to rest and pace him for the playoffs.

The Lakers match up very well with Miami because of their bigs. I'm not going to call them the favorites just yet but they are close.

Last I checked, Bynum and Gasol were better than Perkins/Ibaka/Collison and Kobe is better than Harden.

I'm taking the Lakers next year. Which team would I rather have 5 years from now- OKC

Well LA still doesn't really have a bench. OKC sorta does.

OKC will still be better unless LA can snatch up Howard.

last i checked, perkins and ibaka is the best defensive low post tandem in the league

last i checked durant>>>>>>>>>>who ever is at SF

last i checked, the lakers still don't have an answer for westbrook(nash can facilitate and score efficiently, but westbrook is a good defender and nash is an awful one)

last i checked, the thunder have a stopper to defend kobe

The Lakers have a better front-court offensively and rebounding-wise. The Thunder do have the better defensive one- I will grant you that.

Durant is obviously better than Barnes and Artest.

Yes, Nash trying to guard Harden or Sefolosha (my guess is Kobe will guard Westbrook) will be hard because Nash is a liability on D. But I still do like the Lakers more than the Thunder now. Guarding Nash is no picnic either. This guy is still a top quality PG offensively and Westbrook isn't going to lock him up.

When will you understand basketball? I heard it may take longer than it will take for me not to suck at posting.

How about actually pointing out an incorrect statement before you criticize?

Might be hard seeing as there is none.

perhaps, it depends on the situation

kobe isn't always guarding the elite PG, such as sometimes parker

i never said nash was going to be "locked up" by westbrook, westbrook is an athletic and very capable defender and won't be an easy matchup for nash

then you have sefolosha doing his thing against kobe
