His contract will come into play. Makes a lot of money this year and I bet the Sox would want the Red Sox to pick up the majorty of the contract, he's a free agent after the year.

It's a tough situation... Maybe a trade of Youklins, 80-85% of contract for...?

depends on the timing of the trade. wherever he goes it will be soon. they need to move him. coming off injury and being a FA next year isnt going to make any team pay out the ass for him. i say he is moved in the next 2 weeks.

It might not cost that much, but teams have done dumb things before when desperate, e.g. Carlos Beltran netting a near top 50 prospect last season.
