Well it seems like the Red Sox want major league talent in a deal, and that was why Gammons was saying that a Youk deal is unlikely to any team at this point.

I doubt that they're gonna keep playing Gonzo in RF just to accommodate Youk playing 3rd. He'll get traded. Not soon but he'll get traded.

Again this was coming from Gammons. I could see Boston "settling" for some bullpen arms, or an arm and a prospect, which would move the Sox to the top of the suitors imo.
