Hmmmmm....something tells me that...
Dwight Howard is coming to Chicago.

Good that Reinsdorf sees the problem, hopefully he reacts with change.

Though he's correct that a 2-guard who can score would greatly improve the team, he's gotta be a 2-way player. Bogan's D was legit in the p'offs.

I'm happy that Jerry seems to be getting more involved. Maybe it'll result in a couple of big moves that will help the Bulls contend for years to come.

Obviously, we need to start with fixing the 2 spot.

Lovely, Bulls FO acknowledges the obvious problem and will probably act on it. Get it done GarPax. Get it done.

Doubt the Bulls will even take the flyer on AI, so on that case, does he become Miami's PG??

Also, consider this.

AI is 6'0.... and is considered to be a SG by most. You really wanna a 6 footer giving us minutes at SG? Yeah, he's really gonna stop guys like Wade in the playoffs..

Overall, AI is a shitty defender.

He's an average free throw shooter. 78% for his career.

Not a soild 3 point shooter. 32% for his career. The Bulls NEED a knick down 3 point shooter other than Korver. AI won't give us that.

Yeah he's been a great scorer in his career, but the dude chucks shots like crazy. 27 PPG in his career on 22 shots per game and 42% shooting. What does that tell you? Takes a lot of shots and most of them aren't good looks.

Keep him away from Chicago please.

I hope he does. Then he can steal shots away from Lebron and Wade. xD

no way.

Did you see what happened to Detroit once they gave up Billups for AI?

Now he's just older and still injury prone.

If they passed up on T-Mac, I don't see them getting AI. At least I hope not.

Billups was way better than Iverson at that point though. And Iverson's natural position is an offguard. DET needed a PG.

AI said he would wanna help a contender.

I don't really see a contender willing to take a shot on him.

First team that comes to mind is Boston. They have a strong locker room that won't let AI cause any chemistry problems. But I don't think Boston is a legit contender anymore and AI isn't a huge need for them.

The year before AI was traded to the pistons he averaged 26 PPG and 7 APG for the Nuggets. He also helped them get to the WCF. I wouldn't say that Billups was better than AI AT THAT POINT. It was just very clear who won the trade a couple of months later. Billups went back to his hometown and shined.... while AI collapsed as did the Pistons.

And my post after that is why I really don't want AI here.
