Houston is hell weatherwise. Want to be drenched with sweat at 9am, then live there. I would have to have an air conditioner installed on my face before I lived there

Austin is also hell in the summer, but at least it's pretty with lots to do. Austin doesnt feel like the rest of Texas to me. I spent a lot of time there on business in the 90s. Great strip joints, food and music

that's true. after living in nm anything is humid to me. I hate humidity but have lived in it except for those 3 years

muggy is when your sweat sweats. I was I Arizona working on a church building one summer in the dry season. Really not that bad to be like 110. They said the next month the moisture comes and its unbearable.

Yeah, Houston and BigD have low taxes and great economies but it's just not a good fit.

Why Vegas? Maybe the most phony, fabricated city in the world. Without casinos it wouldnt exist. Hookers everywhere. Plastic town with a transient mentality.
