If there’s any truth to the rumor regarding Tyson’s Dad leaking that some players wanted to start Tyson, the Bears have to move him.

I love the team building aspect of football and enjoy this content even if I dont like some of the lines taken. I dont think Saviinea falls to the 3rd but I think Walker might so close enough.

I like Deone Walker a lot for what the Bears IDL needs, I wish Bears didnt have to take an OT in the first but frankly I dont think anyone can comfortably say Kiran is ready to be OT3 given the film he put up this year.

Really like Mukuba and Manheim on day 3, Mukuba would have a great opportunity to steal development snaps when Brisker takes his possession or 2 off in what feels like every game he plays in.

Cant see Bears taking a WR in the first. I would think it is DL or OL in the first.
I don't think you're wrong. He's about the only player that's not an OL or DL that I could see drafting.

Free Agents
Gesicki - Got rid of Everett to sign someone hopefully a bi more dynamic. Thinking 2 years 8 million here.

Corbett - Can play C and G but comes injured so thinking he signs fo 1 year at say 7m.

Zeitler - Older guy and placeholder so rookies can develop so 2 years 15 million

Mack - Comes back and retires as a Bear. 2 years 30m.
23 Million Cap Space
Gesicki leaving Burrow to become a backup TE for a team that is terrible? The Lions letting Zeitler getting away, much less Zeitler choosing to sign with the Bears? Khalil leaving the #1 defense and coming back to the Bears?

Wow.

Let's assume that with tons of cap space, the Bears sign a stud OG and a good DL in free agency. That opens up more flexibility in the draft.
With 4 picks in the first 3 rounds, it makes sense to shoot for a difference maker. The one player who would make the biggest impact is the RB from Boise state, if he's available when the Bears pick, which is doubtful. He would be CW's best friend.. Then, with the two second round picks the Bears load up with more O and D linemen to back up the free agents, and then go for a real need with a safety in the third.

Of course it's predictable this board will go bonkers. But if we have the closest thing to Walter Payton, it makes sense.

I certainly will go bonkers if they waste the first round pick on a running back. And I frankly hope to God they don’t get back ups with their two second round picks.

If they sign two outstanding experienced linemen in FA, and two outstanding rookie linemen in the second round, they can compete and let the best players prevail. And Caleb Williams would be the main benificiary of bringing in a generational RB.

Likewise, Bagent clearly stated in camp that he has very high aspirations, and my guess is he will ask to be moved in off season.

😆 🤣 😂 bagent will never be more than a Gardner minshew level journeyman who get a chance to start for abysmal teams. His best bet is staying hidden as a back up where nobody realizes he has no upside

Regardless of your's, mine or anyone else's opinion, Tyson has already stated his opinion. So , in light of Remy's mock, there may be the need to seek a backup or two at QB.

Considering his starting point a Minshew level career would be a major accomplishment

Yeah I saw some simulators that had Walker in the 3rd but that seems low to me unless he tests really poorly or looks out of shape.

I probably would have taken OG in the 2nd if I hadnt taken OT in first as if Bears do go for a 1st round OT then I think they move Wright inside to RG.

My favorite teams
  1. New York Mets
  1. New York Knicks
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. New York Rangers
  1. Syracuse Orange
Good thing I said, "Will obviously need refining once final draft order is known."

More of a template so I can tweak later quite quickly.
It's actually a team i think we could do some real damage with if one of Shelton/Corbett can take that center spot and not look back and we get good health especially on the OL. Love getting K.Mack back to play opposite Sweat and someone who can actually put pressure on the QB. Love the Deone Walker pick but don't think he makes it to our second 2nd round pick.
