Why in the world would Mack want to come back to this fucked up organization? I could see him taking less money to play for a contender. The Bears would have to be way towards the bottom of his list of teams he wants to end his career with.

Poles is long gone so that is meaningless.

At this point in his career, he wants to win. That is not happening in Chicago with yet another new head coach in what is still an incredibly fucked up organization from the top down. No way in a million years does Mack come back to Chicago to end his career.

Bagent really has no trade value unless he can get into a game or 2 and show something. Or maybe another solid preseason.

In any event, Bagent is a RFA after 2025 so if I am the Bears I put a 2nd round tender on him for about 5m which is a reasonable cost for a backup QB.

Regardless of your's, mine or anyone else's opinion, Tyson has already stated his opinion. So , in light of Remy's mock, there may be the need to seek a backup or two at QB.
I'd hate to lose him. Think he could be one of the best backup QB's in the league and could even come in and win some games if needed.

OMG. How did this become a Tyson Badgent thread? Might as well play along. No one has verified that any players wanted Bagent to start nor that it was his Dad that spread that shit. Who cares about heresay or his dad anyway but now we're trading him because of it?

He's under contract and if you like him as a backup, you keep him. If not, you don't but is you do like him, he's a bargain. He's also now getting the same training as a rookie starter instead of leaching what he can off a vet with a completely different style like last year. He's getting experience in 2 systems with few different emphases. It's should actually be VG exposure for him outside of actually playing.

There's a WILD rumor as a Reddit user claims that Tyson Bagent’s dad was the one who leaked to ESPN Chicago’s Marc Silverman, aka Silvy, the story that Bears players wanted Caleb Williams benched for Bagent. Silvy completely denied that accusation today, several Bears players said the request for Bagent to start never happened. Also, Bears Insider Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune dismissed the report as well.

Kmet also went out of his way to tell anyone that would listen that no one has wanted Caleb to sit.

Fucking twatter!

Backups I'd take over him: Daniel Jones, garapollo, Sam Howell, Dalton, penix, Cooper rush, wentz, aoc, Mac Jones, Mason Rudolph, Flacco, Jake browning, fields, jameis, tyrod, and probably mariota
Really hard to know with only 4 starts as a rookie out of a small school and the OL in as bad a situation as any time last year. At what price do you replace him? Do they fit what they run for Caleb as well as Tysion does? etc, etc. 1/2 those guys didn't start 4 games their 1st year or played worse in better conditions. Tyson may suck or be very good and there's no way for us to know which right now so I'm going with what those that see him more days than not think.

The way I see it, we have free agency and 3 top 50 draft picks to address 3-5 glaring needs: edge, 2 OGs, center, DT.

This mock seems to have addressed all those areas so no complaints here.

I like bringing Jenkins back on a team friendly deal. LOVE Deone Walker in the second. Princely U in the second is real nice too.

Not gonna complain about an OT in the first.

I would like more juice at WR but not a need. Just looking to be more explosive at that position.

I agree that they need more speed. Allen is certainly not going to provide that lol. I think the money spent on Allen should go towards a quicker option like Tutu Atwell and/or draft at a guy like Tez Johnson

I'm watching the Big Ten championship game right now and I'm liking from I'm seeing from Tex Johnson. Would be a good slot option in the 3rd

On a serious note, couple draft "experts" on the radio were saying there are only 10 legit sure fire first round talents in this draft. Words were, "a very top heavy draft". This according to Dan Patrick show last week when talking the draft, for what it is worth.

Sexual preference is irrelevant.
Not if the organization’s DEI score rises and we get some compensatory picks. That’s how you really build a winner
