That honestly sounds like something his brother would say so he could feel like he was a big man.

the truth is as soon as Rose gets back the team is close to a contender. If Deng and or Boozer is gone they and their salaries will be replaced with equal or better players. Check the Bulls payroll, it's one of the highest in the league, they're aren't cheap.

This team is NOT a contender anymore, and the sooner people understand this, the easier it will be to accept the change that's about to take place. They've had enough time to get it done, it hasn't happened and they can't stay healthy anymore. The time to move on was probably two years ago.

i posted that same statement here when Beasley signed there.
It worked for Eddie Curry.
Purhaps when Derricks contract is up, or after the Bulls amnosty him, Derrick will sign with the Heat for the minimum, ride there bench for a year, eat gummie bears and enjoy the free ride and ring like all the other has-beens do.

No name calling, just the truth man. The gifs are my way of having fun and keeping things light. Frankly, it seems like you feel the need to make excuses for Rose everytime someone expresses criticism for his comments or behavior. In that sense, you are a homer. Rose is a really good guy, but he's not perfect (no one is). As much as I love Derrick, I love the team even more. To me, it's all about what's best for the team. Players should not be making comments or behaving in a way that is detrimental to the team. Hopefully, the rumors aren't true and it's just his brother running his mouth again. Either way, Rose needs to stay focused and out of the media until he can play and contribute. Leave the roster moves to the people who sign your check.

Derrick should just STFU unless he decides to use his mouth as a contribution to the orginization like by RECRUITING a player higher than Kirk Hinrichs caliber.
