Just out of curiosity, who would you prefer as the Eagles quarterback right now, in fact put them in order - Foles, Bradford and Stafford. And if you want, throw Cutler in there as well.
Thats real tough to answer because i keep thinking of the Foles contract they traded away being ~$1M/seaseon.
If looking at talent alone here's where I put them:
1 - Stafford - has put together glimpses of top 5 type play with and without Magatron. He also has a crazy arm, which shiuld be factored in. People forget when he was drafted he went to a zero win team and they haven't really drafted well since.
2 - Bradford - he hasnt been great by any stretch of the imagination, but I think thats partially because hes missed the last two seasons with the ACL and he's rebuilding his balance. Im really hoping he has a good game coming off a bye week.
3 - Foles - I really like him, but think he turns the ball over too much in the red zone. Hes best suited for an offense that asks him to compliment a running game, which to me means he isnt a franchise guy.
Just for conversation, Cutler is probably between Stafford and Bradford.
