Damn, didn't see that coming. Admittedly, I was never the biggest Van Halen/Hagar fan but I did respect them. Sad, 65 is relatively young.

Eddie was very talented. I remember attending a seminar with him and Allan Holdsworth. Eddie couldn't keep up, but his humility that day was pretty revealing. Seemed like a good guy, rock star stories aside.

Loved Eddie and because of him I discovered other greats like Allan Holdsworth. I feel like Eddie was a guy who really made it cool to be a music geek. Envious of you attending that seminar.
