Have never a big Van Halen fan. But, certainly an incredible guitarist, and absolutely too young to pass.
I feel ya but that og 1978 self titled is actually a pretty cohesive thang. Fwiw tho I listened to it end to end for the first time tonight lol.Have never a big Van Halen fan. But, certainly an incredible guitarist, and absolutely too young to pass.

FTR, Jump is a terrible song. I hate it so much. But I love this intro
Seemed like a good guy with a hot wife.
I had such a crush on her back in the day.

HE IS.Then he'll try and tell us Mick Taylor is better than Eddie Van Halen.
Taylor played rythym on a few Stones songs when Keith wasn't there. On a couple of songs he played lead, acoustic, rhythm and bass on the same song.....duhWhat nimrod doesn't mention is that both Eddie and Page played both rhythm and lead guitar, without another guitarist. And they were both quite good at rhythm guitar.
Big difference.
Not true.Pretty easy to do in the studio.
Gosh you are a complete idiot.
And Richards liked Page. A lot. He considered him the most overworked guitarist in rock because he played lead and rhythm live, and tried to convince him to get a rhythm player.
TAYLOR IS A ROCK LEGEND AND BLUES MASTER VAN HALEN IS A POP STAR, SHREDDER AND MICHAEL JACKSON LAP LICKER
