So let me get this straight. From a chronological perspective, The Force Awakens is post-Return of the Jedi, and Rogue One bridges Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Is this right?
Haven't seen Rogue One yet, so not sure if it exactly bridges the two, but it at least gives something leading up to A New Hope. There's a good amount of time between episode 3 and 4 and I'm not sure if Rogue One covers it all. Someone who has seen it can correct me though. So let me get this straight. Nobody needs to watch Eps 1, 2, 3. Total waste of time.
Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Force Awakens
This is a joke right? Episode 3 was the best of the new trilogy that George Lucas made (Eps 1, 2, 3) but that's not saying much. It still sucks beyond belief. To claim it's better than Eps 4, 5, 6 is laughable.

I would watch them in the order they were released.
And of course, you guys watch the clone wars animation, I presume.
