Makes some sense since they need a bullpen arm, and wouldn't be shocked to see him go. Goldstein usually is pretty good about his guesses.

Goldstein is saying that Webster for Dempster, Russel, + would be a steal for the Cubs. Says Webster has more upside but less stability than Delgado.

Don't get why he thinks that the Cubs would need to give up that much, BN asks "even with how well rentals have been doing", and he says "not that good", we are talking about prospect #95 for a pitcher near the top of the league in ERA plus a solid reliever and more...

I think Goldstein has severely underestimated how the market has played out. Webster's stock though is rising unlike the other top 100 prospects that were dealt this season whose stock had all taken a hit (Turner, Delgado, Vizcaino, and the other guy I can't remember).

Morosi and Goldstein are now both saying the deal is not done. Morosi says hardball is being played with 3 hours to go to the deadline and Goldstein is saying that the Cubs are trying to add to Dempster to get Webster.
