According to multiple sources the Cubs have traded Ryan Dempster to the Atlanta Braves including Len Kasper saying Dempster will be missed.

Braves might have been more willing to go big for Dempster because they feel like they have a good shot at resigning Dempster given the relationship Dempster has with GM Wren and manager Gonzalez.
