Well apparently Bickell is a game time decision now too according to CBC. So you might get your wish of not seeing him Pez. Injuries are ruining this team.

They also think that Joel will actually play the STK line.

I don't know, we'll see. I don't think so though. It looks to me they figured it out. They were up 1-0 last year and the year before, and still weren't giving the Hawks respect.

We'll see when it's 2-2..

2-2 won't matter, we'll see after we win game 6.

There is no doubt the Canucks are playing both better, and a different game than they have in the past two series.

They are walking away at the end of plays. They have become Humble instead of appearing as if they "deserve" something they have not earned.

The Hawks have yet to play their best and that's the positive thing. They need one game in Vancouver and have to win the games on home ice. There are two more left in Vancouver.

Tomorrow is the biggest game of the season so far, but there have been many big games in the last month.

Excuse me if I don't call players out for losing on the other teams home ice. Will be interesting to see what crowd shows up tomorrow. I have yet to see a crowd this year that has fed their team like the Rogers Arena has. Chalk it up to dumb, uninterested fans, being there to be seen because it's the thing to do, rather than watching whats happening on the ice.

Rk , all of your points are spot on!! And NO Puckjim, I'm not a fanboy If the true fans show up for tomorrows game like the Nuck fans did for their 2 home games, will it make a difference? Did'nt we have the edge in regular season games with them? ( one loss to them was a complete fail on officiating /Van scored on an obvious no-call off-sides and we were'nt credited with a goal scored). We can, and have played with this team this year !

Ben Smith and Stalberg scoring last nite could be a confidence boost for not only the 3rd and 4th liners but for our core players.I like Stalbergs speed but other than that not a big fan , but he has shown more intensity in these 2 games.

These 2 games weren't blowouts despite the fact that they did beat the crap out of us.

Hopefully real fans will be there tomorrow nite. Will the refs make a difference ?

You say "so-called core", can it be any more apparent that they are the core when we lose games where none of them are on the score sheet.

I don't drink any koolaid, I watch hockey. The Hawks are a 97 point fucking 8 seed, 3rd best goal differential in the conference. Do what you can with that stat. Did you miss Philidelphia's 3-0 comeback last year? Do you recall last years first round against Nashville. Funny the same people saying its over had the same thoughts til Kane's goal with 30 seconds left. Momentum is one of the biggest things in hockey, and it swings faster than any other sport.

Luongo gets paid 7 million a year and he can't answer a few questions after the game, the guy is an emotional pussy, and it translates straight to his play. If we win tomorrow, I'll love to see the change of heart around here.

As for your opinion, my opinion is:
<

I could'nt agree with you more.
<
<

Luongo also was asked if he needed to make it deeper into the STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS to validate his status as a world class goalie, and he said no. I don't have the link but he was asked this in the days leading up to game 1 vs Hawks

Is Fluffle still here? Acco = Fluffle ?

You know, the more playoff hockey I watch, the more I'm beginning to think Q just can't coach this team. You watch other teams play, and their system is obvious. Guys are doing what is expected of them. I watched Montreal and LA play tonight, and they just play better fundamental hockey than the Hawks do. Guys are in position, they make the smart play, and they're not running around like fucking idiots. They put the puck on net, and drive for the rebound. They aren't looking for the perfect pass every time. They make the smart, simple play. Montreal is a TINY team, but their small players are out there doing what needs to be done. They aren't fucking off on the perimeter, shying away from contact, throwing away the puck, or poking at the puck feebly when the other team has it. They are taking the body, taking hits, and making plays.

Cammallleri 5'9 182

Gomez 5'11 198

Gionta 5'7 173

Size is no excuse. I'm sick of seeing guys on the Hawks BIGGER than those three, playing like fucking pussies. You know what? **** these guys. They DON'T deserve to be in the playoffs. There, I said it. I see what these other teams are doing with LESS top end talent, and it pisses me right the **** off.

<deleted comment> I deleted it because I can not tell an uneducated dumb **** he's a dumb ****.

Pez(not related to the above) I've always agreed with that. I have said numberous times Q won the Cup in Chicago in spite of himself. His team was so well rounded they were bound to win it. That said I'm sure something he did paid off a long the way but with a team lacking in depth he has had problems all year finding the right chemistry.

And in your example Montreal has four Centers, and three lines running. Hawks have neither.

Sadly, the only line that was running was one without a center and probably only one top 6 forward on it. The other 3 lines that had real centers didn't do anything.

I watched the LA game tonight too and you are right Pez. It also helps when your #1 blueliner plays like a #1 blueliner. Doughty was a machine tonight and just makes our #1 blueliner look that much worse.

Keiths play is a big reason the Hawks find themselves where they are. While it sucks to point a finger at one guy and its often not fair our "system" pez has always been based a lot on how Keith rolls. His offense has always been a key in the past as has the outlet pass (not only from him but also Campbell..who hasn't been great either).

But I agree size isn't an excuse. Esp after watching guys like St Louis laugh off getting his teeth knocked out etc etc. Playoff hockey one has to play like its playoff hockey..that means sacrificing. Have our guys done it? Probably not enough.

I haven't been a big fan of Q this season either. But who knows maybe Scotty oh Scotty is getting his hands on coaching decisions yet again? Probably.

Really? His example of Montreal is pretty bad... Plekanec is not a Center? His line scored two of the three goals today. One the PP, one even strength. I'd say he's a top 6 Center. Infact, he led the team in points.

Only top six forward on it? Camelari top six, Plekanec top six... They were on the ice for 2 of the three goals.

Game #1 Gionta and Gomez for both goals.

Again their #1 and #2 Centers were key on four of the 5 goals they've scored. Not sure if I understood what you were talking about but their running solid lines and lead the series 2 games to 0.

If you were comparing that to the Hawks the top line is forchecked like hell because they know there isn't a 2nd line to worry about so much. NO CENTER.

The 3rd and 4th are just that, 3rd and 4th. Lack of Center depth will **** you as weve personally seen in the past with this team. Why Q has NOT put Sharp back on the 2nd line is fucked. One of the reasons this team is 0-2 right now.

No please share with us what you wanted to say.. I would love to here why I'm so uneducated. What education do you need to know when predicting the Hawks in 6. Is that education or is it a sheer hope, or having faith. I have no issue with people having hope. As I mentioned before but you seem to wanna focus on complaining about who was a blackhawks fan first or how much someone played or who someone knows doesn't change the fact that that person can predict a series...ask anyone that that is not in this board and they would laugh at you. You seem along with others that when I say in many of my posts that, yes the Hawks can still win, if they match the hits and determantion that the Nucks are bringing, yes the Hawks have better talent. I never qustioned that. Rk you just hate anyone that doesn't agree with you. Well my friend just because you may say you know players or coaches or what ever doesn't make you right about every thing you post in here. Are you god, you can tell the future. come I respect you, but when you talk like that, Not so much. I don't call you dumbfuck either, nor do I use swear at you do I. You out of all people in here know how muh I love this team, it's frustration that kicks in that makes me point out my views, which I have every right too, just like you and everyone else in here has rights. RK next time I see I will give you a big hug and it will not be for 3.5 mil.

No you call people Fools, Retards and fucking little children. Get off your high horse there buddy. Try reading what you fucking type for a change instead of going for the "they are all out to get me route".

I hope you bring some luck to the game tonight RK. I think the boys are going to need it. No Bickell, and Taffe dressing, is what I'm hearing.

By the way, my Montreal example was just to show how you don't have to BE big, to PLAY big. It's something our players could do well to learn.

Luckily Taffe can't possibly be a bigger pussy than Bickell.
