Random thought if you replace ANYONE on this team besides Drose with Scottie Pippen when he was at his peak would it push the Bulls past Miami?

I think it would with our defense and Rose being Rose honestly.

Its just an interesting thought, a lot of people say Pipp was overrated and does not belong in the top 50 players this could shed some light on that subject.

Instead of Pippen, I would replace Rasual Butler with Richard Gilooley and have him whack Lebron in the knee with a metal pipe like he did Nancy Kerrigan before Game2. Then, I think that would push the Bulls past Miami at this point.

Also, nobody thinks Pippen is overrated.

I'm pretty sure with Pippen the Bulls would beat Miami in a 7 game series. It'd be a whole different ball game in fact.

Show your work please.

EDIT: On second thought, please don't. The fact that people think he didn't belong in the top 50 is completely different than him being overrated.

God I would love to see that hopefully in heaven you can play real live fantasy basketball where you can put any player on any team and watch court side

My LMAO was to your post about replacing Butler,

Just in talking to fellow basketball fans, hell even Cleveland called Lebron, Scottie Pippen as an insult
No, they called him Scottie Pippen because they were saying he was going to play second banana to Dwayne Wade. Those people are now looking foolish.

EDIT: I am one of those foolish people as well.

If referring to somebody as a guy who won 6 NBA Championships is an insult, then please, by all means, start referring to me as Scottie Pippen.

Am I wrong for visualizing baseball bats to Wade's throat and like you mentioned, the Tonia Harding scenario? :)

Nancy still won the silver, freaking incredible.

I confused Richard Jewel with Jeff Gilooly. My apologies.

Wade isn't the issue.

If Pippen in his prime was on this team, Miami wouldn'tstand a chance...If you think they cryed before, some of miamis players would probabely be put on suicid watch and admitted to there local hospital...Lebron James would completely be shut down and Pippen would probabely dunk on him harder than he did Patrick Ewing in game 6 of the eastern conferance semifinals 1994...Lebitch would probabely go to a sexchange clinic and have gender reaasignment surgery and join the WNBA if he had to face Scottie Pippen in his prime...It insults me to here Lebron and Scotties name in the same sentence....Lebron is no Scottie...Not only that , but the team as a whole would be much better because Pip made the players around him much better....It would be a sweep in the Bulls favor..Even of Rose wasn't on the team, Scottie could play pointguard as well as smallforward and we would still beat those Miami queers....

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rhd0ZFrb7y0]YouTube - ‪Scottie Pippen dunks on Patrick Ewing‬‏[/ame]

Lebron would have a steroid induced heart attack if he got dunked on like the above video..Its a good thing Scottie ain't playin in todays NBA because he would probabely be in prison for murder......

Man I dont know why you are jumping on me! I am not saying that he is over rated! I love Scottie he won us that first championship by shutting down one of the best PGs ever and he was a god damn SF!!

I am saying that he is one of the 1st people brought up when it comes to over rated players, and this of course is because he played next to the G.O.A.T ... I am always the one arguing for scottie

Scottie was the Oscar Robertson of his era and one of the most versatile players to ever play the game of basketball.....He is definately not overrated, but underrated......There was not 1 aspect of the game that he didn't excel in....He defined the term "COMPLETE PLAYER"........not to many players in NBA history you can say that about...He was simply, "THE PROTOTYPE" of what anyone playing the game today should strive to be PpppppppppppppppppppppppppPERIOD...End of Story!!!!!!!

Tough question posed by the thread author here b/c the game has changed. If we tried to play the way we did in the 90's, all 5 starters would foul out.

Pippen is the greatest perimeter defender I have ever seen...and Lebron is doing exactly what Pippen used to do. And hell no, Pippen ain't shutting down Lebron... Lebron is a better player and Pippen has never guarded anybody like him.

I'm sure he wouldn't shut him down, but surely he'd be able to do something against him. Again, he is the greatest perimeter defender we've all ever seen. I'm sure he could force Lebron into a few tough games at least.
