its a new regime though, and most of the people bitching are the 16 year olds who havent suffered like the 90 year old

I know right? They should've won the World Series yesterday. Fucking slackers.

If you believe in an afterlife, maybe they can watch it on God's TiVo. When and if it finally happens.

This sucks. Marshall was a Cub his entire career to this point and finally turned a corner with a role he excelled in. I understand he would be up for a big raise if 2012 was on par with 2011, but maybe he's worth it.

Yeah, I'm a little partial. Marshall gave me a ball on my first visit to Wrigley Field, and signed 2 jerseys for my girlfriend and I during spring training. Next to Reed Johnson and Kerry Wood, he was probably the most fan friendly guy on the roster.

I like the deal. Marshall served us no purpose right now, he gets a chance to win, we get a lefty starter under team control forever, and two specs. Nice deal Cinci probably overpaid a bit

I saw on twitter that when he's on his game, he pitches very very good. So.. let's hope that's always.

That's like a blanket statement you can make for just about every pitcher

That and it is is ridiculous to hope that a pitcher is always on top of his game, considering that everybody has a bad game or bad stretch on occasion, especially a young pitcher like T-Wood.

BTW, have the Cubs ever had 2 Woods at the same time?

Cubs will receive OF Dave Sappelt and IF Ronald Torreyes.

Torreyes may be pretty good.
