Fourth line looks to be Carcillo/Kruger/Frolik - could definitely be a good one as Carcillo is going to bring a lot more offense to that line than Mayers/Bollig have. Definitely a fourth line that can skate, forecheck, and hopefully chip in offensively.

im curious to know if yanking hossa the other night was all precautionary and to make it more than it was so the league looks hansen harder. ive had concussions and occasionally it doesnt look like someone could be concussed by something but they do. my first thought was whip lash.

still, the last 7 min or so have been impressive, despite the 0-0 tally. Offense has looked much more fluid.

If Hossa would've found a way to score on the unmarked opportunity, the place would've went nutzo

Frustrating goal allowed...especially considering how Emery did most everything right on that play, after getting bailed out by bad placement on the Sharks shots 3 or 4 times :lol:

Unfortunate goal to give up, first minute and last minute of the period usual have some extra focus.

Bolland needs to be smarter on that goal. Over committed in the offensive zone and then he never picked up the high guy (Marleau) who eventually got the goal.

Emery has looked shaky but part of it has to do with the amount of traffic San Jose is putting in front of the goal mouth.

Good thing is that the Blackhawks had some nice pressure of their own in the first period and hopefully they come out firing in the second.

Seemed like Niemi was giving up more than a few big rebounds but the Sharks pounced on everyone quickly. Emery has looked awful tonight. Thank god the Sharks have been pathetic on offense and the defense has been good.
