well now franz nielson rumors are starting up. Apparently the Hawks are talking to the Islanders. Not a fan of Nielson. Hes small and hes no better in the circle than bolland. but **** it go get him gives me another player to get mad at.

Yah rex im changing my tune on bolland. somethings not right with that guy i dont even have faith he will show up in the playoffs hes gone soft. not sure if the back problems of the past are bothering him or what but hes a mere shadow of his old self. im not even confident that the reason is because hes a natural 3rd liner. he just looks like crap!!

Even in the playoffs, to continually expect that kind of production/play he had, it's damn near unsustainable. It's not to say he wasn't playing well, just he was getting incredibly lucky at the same time in scoring chances/goals and goals against.

Right...he put up numbers 1 time in his life, in a league in Italy...but that coach obviously let him play

What other times was he scoring internationally?

are we talking about Hammer now, or Bolland? or Nielson? "he" can be a number of people

Hammer put up goals in numerous WJC's, in Italy, and played fantastic in the WHC's last summer.

But we get it, you don't like him.

Keep making shit up..it's entertaining

Still don't know when I said I didn't like 'hammer"

Never knew he was Paul Coffey until Q got ahold of him

His 3pts in the WJC's are impressive

As well as the 5 in 55gms in the SWE league

I never realized it, so my apologies

3 goals and 8 points in 14 games in the WJC's are impressive for a defensemen.

he had an excellent WHC this summer, where I could have sworn he hit the back of the net. That was my mistake, but he was still joining and starting rushes.

god forbid anyone say anything about a coaching decision that you don't agree with though. You might take Quenneville's **** out of your mouth long enough to insult someone. So let me say something that you will agree with, since this is getting annoying

Hammer is useless. Bolland is useless, Crawford is a terrible goalie who can't make a save if his life depended on it. Q should be Jack Adams 12 years and running. It's a good thing to switch the lines as many times as you can. Scoring on the powerplay is overrated.

Well it only took Stan/Q two weeks to pull their head out of their ass and call up Morin.

That is all.

If they lose today I would be surprised if both Sharp and Hossa weren't back in the line up tomorrow night.

should have been done after the Columbus game where it was obvious Hayes didn't mesh with Kane and Bolland.

Well, take the dick out of your ears and wash the jizz out of your eyes.

Never said Hammer was useles...ever. He's not an offensive defenceman. Never has been other than in Italy. Guess stain in 1 eye really got you.

Bolland is a 3rd line center at best. This year proves it.

Yep, Q's a good coach. One of the best in the league. Keep trying to make up excuses on what about him isn't, he'll just keep winning and players love playing for him.

Craw sucked balls last year. Had a good rookie year, good this year. Still needs to not give up the soft goal now and then and win playoff series. It's kind of a mark of a goalie in the league, like a QB winning a playoff game in the NHL.

Here....this is for you..

There isn't a single goal that goes in that Crawford should stop. The Hawks have fucked him by keeping him in the minors and playing this pathetic group of D in front of him.

Q's wins were all in spite of him. The guy is an idiot and its bullshit/fake all the years he's been in the league, all the years he played and coached and won.

The PP is the end all be all. I would rather be PHI and the number 1 PP in the league. Or WASH number 2. Or EDM number 5. Or CAL number 7. Those are teams the Hawks should inspire to be like. Without a PP, this team is going nowhere fast, If you want to win the cup, you need the best PP in the league.

Q continues to hold this team back. Even when Toews went down, he continued to **** over Bolland who should have been the top line center replacement. Never mind his faceoffs, his lack of production, his non physical play, his job is to "shut down" players. There's so many games he plays in where players against the Hawks don't score - and it's all Bolland.

I especially liked your part about Bolland's lack of production in the playoffs last year, when as a third liner he outscored Hossa, Sharp, Stalberg, Kruger (#2C) he was actually #3 in team scoring. If you want to talk about lack of production in the playoffs last year, look at the whole team.

Bolland may not be a #2 C, but who do we have that is? I look at quite a few playoff teams, and Bolland would be a #2C on that team also. Would you prefer Kruger go back to #2C? I'd love to have an all star as #2 C and put Bolland back to #3 but last I checked, we have a salary cap.

Also, never said the PP has to be #1. But it has to be better.

Bolland is shit in the dot, never said he wasn't. Needs serious work. Matter of fact, anyone not named Toews is shit in the dot.

Q isn't a bad coach, but he makes terrible decisions. If you can't see that, then there is something wrong. When you are undefeated for 23 games to start a season, and you lose a game, it's not a time to juggle the lines.

If you want to use wins as the mark of a great coach though, Ron Wilson has 600+ wins. Good to know the players love playing for him. They loved playing for Savvy too, and players hated playing for Scotty Bowman. Just sayin'

And I like when Oduya gets labeled as playing like shit in the playoffs - he was tied with the great Dave Bolland in pts, was a +1, 2nd in D hits, 2nd in blocked shots and only had 2 giveaways...

I must have missed Ron Wilson's cup. And Q's missed the playoff's one time in his career - how many has Ron Wilson? I see the comparison. Q hasn't won as many cups as Babcock (has had the best Dman in the world, 2 of the best 2 way players) or Blysma (2 perrenial MVP's every single year). But Q is more Savard and Wilson than those two.

And I agree he should have kept the lines the same. Never mind when Sharp went out, Shaw left a game with a head injury/battled the flu...lost Frolik to the flu, Hossa to injury, He had no business trying Stalberg there one game and Bickell the other..before going back to setting the third line. That was not the time to juggle.

So far, it appears moving Patrick Sharp to center when he returns from what a source said is a shoulder injury — likely Thursday night against the Blues — is not one of those options. Sharp was the No. 2 center for much of 2009-10 when the Hawks won the Stanley Cup but has been at his preferred left wing almost exclusively since.

Sharp said coach Joel Quenneville has not approached him about making the move but he would embrace it if called upon.

"I'd go back there 100 percent," said Sharp, who was injured March 6. "We have four centers and guys sitting out who are capable of playing there but if Joel asked me I would do it in a heartbeat."

So, again, this is entirely on Q.

I never bought into that bullshit that Sharp himself refused to play there. That rung of sports tabloid shit when that rumor came out.

p.s. when your GM isn't getting you a LW to fill that hole it doesn't help either. Like I said before now that Saad has shown up they can probably take the chance with Sharp at center again. Still going to leave a 2nd line LW hole but I have jumped on the get Bolland off that second line now. Just dont let Hayes back on that line please.

Maybe that sound bite from Sharp will be used as a hint. Glad he said it.
