That might be part of the dilemma as far as the lack moves (trade or otherwise), by the 'Hawks. Seeing that Hossa and Sharp are non-contact skating now is a good sign, but only the team knows the extent of their injuries and if they are being rushed back (which I do not believe).
Honestly, if there is any move, I would just love two things.
(1) a 2nd line improvement where Kane is not the single source of line effectiveness. Not talking just scoring, but all other aspects of that line. Primarily the ability to keep the puck in the offensive zone and force the other team's D to make mistakes to give not just Kane, but the rest of the line better scoring chances. Preferably at center, and I would be fine with Bolland moving to the 3rd line roll where he has proven to be more effective for this team.
(2) 3rd/4th liner that can play puck possession, has size to use, and will play more and more effective minutes than Bollig and Carcillo..
I meant for me. But now I will need to get extra.
Roy is garbage and not what this team needs at all. Plus, he's also pretty terrible at faceoffs.
This team needs Sharp at center, as they have the last three seasons.
As Ton said to TCD, why does Shaw need to play C? Wouldn't mind him play a wing spot on the 3rd line with Bolland and either Bickell or Stal.
Kruger could eventually be the 2nd line C IMO. He's been developing nicely and he's starting to bring out that offensive side of his game that he was originally drafted for. Don't forget, he's only 22 (soon to be 23) and still developing.
well now franz nielson rumors are starting up. Apparently the Hawks are talking to the Islanders. Not a fan of Nielson.
Yah rex im changing my tune on bolland. somethings not right with that guy i dont even have faith he will show up in the playoffs hes gone soft. not sure if the back problems of the past are bothering him or what but hes a mere shadow of his old self. im not even confident that the reason is because hes a natural 3rd liner. he just looks like crap!!
Exactly...coaches tell the players not to try to score, hit outlet passes...play a defensive/offensive game. I couldn't agree with you more that coaches are the reasons players play good/bad.
They need to get a coach that will tell the players to not let the other team score, and to score when they have the puck. Dammit Q
