This isn't just Dews opinion either.

Maybe I like the young players too much, but I am just in full support of giving the good young player time over an old guy who is also unproven (Silva is FAR from a sure thing).

Never said he was a sure thing. However, to say he is unproven, is not only Special person, it's wrong. He did pretty damn well in his first 16 starts last year. Or did you just forget that part?

That was relative to the subject...

You're the hypocrite.

Ok, he did well in the first 16 starts of the season... and then he was injured. Are you really saying he's proven that he deserves a start because of 16 games he was good in after two years of being terrible and after which he was injured and terrible again? You and I both have NO IDEA what we will get out of him.

THAT ISN'T THE POINT. He has done it once, he can do it again. Will he? Who knows. But if Silva and Cash Money have identical springs, I want Silva in there. Not only has he proven he can be good, it will raise his stock, so we can ship him out. Hell, if it's even close, I want Silva taking the ball.

Ok, so we just meant different things by proven. You meant that they proved that they can be good. I meant that they are pretty much a sure thing (which neither are, as I never said Cashner was).

I disagree about the "if it's even close part" though. I want the best out there, no matter what the margin is. And I am predicting that Cashner is one of those 5 best.

That is what proven means...

It's not all about the best. Do you really want to be responsible for all of Silva's contract? I don't. We need to get him out of here. That's not going to happen if he is in the pen.

See? You are ignorant as ****. You are predicting Cashner will be one of the 5 best starters based off of what? Nothing. You just have a boner for Cashner and don't have anything to back it up. Or do you?

I am basing it on what I've seen from them in the Majors, and the Minors. Not how big one's dick may get from them. That boner comment was ignorant as ****.

What are you basing heart-problem Silva being the same as the 1st half Silva from? Nothing.

It's not possible that your eyes could deceive you, is it? I mean, the human eye IS perfect.

If the heart problem was still a legitimate concern, do you really think they would let him pitch?

Right, so Cashner sucks even though he clearly has some nasty stuff? OK.

It is always a concern, that's why he had to be shut down last year.

Did I say Cashner sucks? No. Yeah, he has nasty stuff as a reliever, but he only has 3 pitches and I think that he needs to develop his change up a little more or possibly add a 4th pitch, because his fastball got hit pretty well last year, to be able to start in the big leagues.

If it is still a legitimate concern, why are they allowing him to pitch now? "Yeah, we're letting Carlos pitch, hopefully he will have another heart attack." That makes no sense.

Of course it makes no sense, why would they hope he has a heart attack, and he didn't actually have a heart attack before, so it wouldn't be another.

I just casually said who I think will be in. We don't have to agree you know.
