  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Fred also said we wouldn't make the playoffs and that we'd have like 37 wins. Fred, thanks for being wrong. xD

i was skeptical about the playoffs. the bulls had a crappy start and a rough string of games to finnish the season. i still think we're going to get annihilated by cleveland, but there is a chance we get a game or two.

I shared the same win prediction, I thought we'd be 38-41 ones but closer to the 38 and just missing the playoffs. I don't remember my thoughts on the Pistons but I wouldn't be surprised if I picked them, though injury killed them. I also thought NJ would be better than the worst team, closer to a playoff team and that both Toronto and Washington would be playoff teams.

i think most of the bulls players are still injured. what other team has 3 players battling plantir fascitis. deng looks dead, really our only healthy players are terrible...and of course D-rose!

Injuries are an excuse when your top 4 guys are out for long periods. Not when you miss a guy here and there. None of our guys missed more than a quarter of the year. Meanwhile the top 3 players on the Pistons have missed more games. BG who played hurt, played less games than Noah and Rip and Prince barely played over half the year.

The Piston's best stretch was during the injuries, because it forced them to play Charlie V, who was playing awesome at the time.

our guys played while injured. so that skews the fact that they didnt miss too many games. also the most of the best players on the pistons team come off the bench

gordon bynum and charlie v. everyone else kinda sucks/ is over their prime. i'd rather start gordon and bring hamilton off the bench. gordon is playing well and on a longer deal. daye is a bust.

Really like BG hasn't been playing injured?

all i'm s saying is a healthy bulls team could take a healthy pistons team any day of the week. Rip and prince are done. they're no longer the players they once were. stucky is terrible. Charlie V is a great 6th man, but he plays no defense. Ben wallace is playing well, but he's nothing to write home about. They're best player is bg, and i think we'd be able to take them.

Hmmm, are you making up stuff again Hou???

I assume I'm the "Preacher man." since you've called me the Rev Kush. So I did dig up the archives.

Episode #119 of Running with the Bulls, my podcast. I predicted the Bulls would be the 7th seed in the East. at th 16 minute mark of the show I said the Bulls could easily be 6th or 5th. that there were a cluster of teams that could fill spots 5 through 8. Feel feel to listen and fast forward to the 16 minute mark.

I did pick the Pistons 8th. So don't try to throw me into this alleged group of people who thought the Bulls wouldn't make the playoffs. Don't make stuff up.

The Bulls got lucky, lets not act like this was some great accomplishment. they played their way in and credit is deserved for that. But if Bosh doesn't get hurt, this team doesn't make it. Bottom line.

Sure they had Noah out during the 10-game losing streak, but guess what - if Noah played, they lose those games anyway. Those were some tough games they played.

I've said since last summer, it was my slogan - 4 inches baby. 4 inches to 45 wins.
I said I expect the Bulls to win no less than 45 games because of all the folks who thought Ben Gordon was holding the team back. well, they didn't win 45 games. They won 41. If they were fully healthy do they win 45, possibly. But all teams deal with injuries over an 82 game season.

So Hou, don't make stuff up about things I've said.

Yeah, that 4 inches stuff that caught on so well, that goes right next to "mavericky" when it came to not making much sense...very Palinesque of you...I am sure you sold bumper stickers to your congregants with "4 inches baby" on it...

i stand by the 4 inches baby philosophy. the bulls a better defensive with 4 inches! not the return of luol, the addition of taj, the defensive prowess of tyrus off the bench, and the emergence of Joahkim.

None of that stuff matters. we need to get defense into the lineup by adding bigger guards! 4 inches baby!

wait, how tall is hinrich?

in case the sarcasm isn't apparent, i believe the 4 inches baby slogan was illustrating that guards aren't as significant as bigmen in terms of team defense. The notion that we were trading gordon for defensive purposes was absolutely unconscionable.

the bulls wanted bigger guards, then eh, i guess they realized they wanted smaller guards.

admittedly hinrich is a better defender than gordon, but i dont think there'd be that big of a difference if we substituted him with another small productive guard.
